Quick update from the front lines.
First off, you’re not going to miss Monday’s all-new Strange Things Happen at the One-Two Point, are you? Let’s just say you can expect a few big story progressions…
It’s Friday-land on the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles set as we’re on our second day of production on episode sixteen (yes, really!) — of course, we won’t tell you anything about it quite yet.
While our amazing cast and crew will be shooting late into the night tonight, our writers are hard at work piecing together the rest of the season.
Perhaps you deserve a little Friday surprise? How about the titles of our three remaining episodes you can look forward to before the new year. Stay tuned for…
Strange Things Happen at the One-Two Point on November 24
Self Made Man shows his face on December 1
Earthlings Welcome Here lands December 8
Oh, we did mention that there’s big twists in this week’s episode right? Trust us. Catch it live.
Earthlings Welcome Here isn’t going to be a two hour special or anything is it? Wishful thinking on my part, I guess.
If the Dec 15 episode is 1,500 hours long, then I will promise not to complain about the midseason break until Feb. 15. Much.
Let’s see, I’ve got a pretty full social calendar for Monday evening…hmmmm….. NOT!!
I’ll be front and center of the flat screen TV.
Earthlings Welcome Here - that’s a scary thought. You’re not going all Area 51 on us, are you?
Expecting good things, I am !
Self Made Man almost sounds like a wrecked terminator rebuilding himself, but that’s a pretty thin guess.
“big twists in this week’s episode”
Is the contortionist terminator making a come back?
What happened to Alpine Fields?
Brilliant!
Really keen for Mondays ep.
Though ill have to stream it online seeing as im from Aus.
Yeah, what happened to Alpine Fields? Are there gonna be in total 12 episodes or 13 before the break?
Anyways, your efforts to deliver a great show are greatly appreciated. I’ve enjoyed every single minute!
I’m with the previous commenters, where’s “Alpine Fields”?? Scraped? Or did whoever wrote this blog post screw up a bit?

Alpine Fields according to Spoilertv.blogspot.com will be the Fall Finale.
Yeah I have no idea. This blog is a bit screwy as is Fox press releases.
JRC this blog is the best way to interact with everyone. They are nice enough to talk to us on here. Tell everyone with the crew that we appreciate there hardwork. I just hope that Jessie isn’t trying to kill Cameron since in her time Cameron may be a traitor. We all love Cameron!
What happend to Alpine Fields?
I’m totally confused. Aren’t there supposed to be FOUR remaining episodes of the fall, not three? I thought the last fall episode - episode 2.13 - was supposed to be aired on the 15th.
@Evan: Sorry I should have clarified that when I said this blog was a bit screwy, I meant in regards to the upcoming episodes/scheduling. But than again so is Fox with its press releases.
I really like this blog especially when they give out behind the scenes information the day after the episode.
The Turk was kind enough to give us an update via the SCS.net forums.
“The situation is still in flux, but the decision to air a big two hour Prison Break finale forced us to stop at 12 episodes instead of 13 and move one of the first 13 into the back part of the season. So instead of ending our run at 12 and depriving people of the episode that was designed as a finale to the first chunk of the season (Earthlings), we’re opting to move the mostly standalone “Alpine” into the back part of the season– probably between episode 13, “The Good Wound,” and 14, “Desert Cantos.” This is actually a place that works pretty darn well for “Alpine Fields,” actually. So while you’ll have to wait until after the holidays to see it, it won’t be too long of a wait.”

Can’t wait to see the new Eps, and while the inner workings of network TV scheduling still confounds me (and apparently most everyone else on Earth) I’m just happy we’ll be able to see the shows in the soonish.
Pray for season 3!!! I don’t want to see any of the talented cast of SCC out of work, especially poor Summer whose only other experience with Fox was having her 1st true acting role in Firefly yanked after a mere 11 Eps. Worst mistake EVER!!! They all deserve better. So watch the show, tell your friends to watch the show heck tell your gramps to watch it.
Oh and don’t forget to vote for SCC in the Peoples Choice Awards.
just can’t wait to see next episode, in fact i could stay in front of the tv watching new episodes for a couple of days or maybe weeks?
You’re doing a great job, i hope this can extend to 100 seasons or even more.
Good job! Cheerz!
@ Josh= I agree everyone vote for SCC and have people watch the show. I think that when they move to Friday thats when FOX will look at the numbers more. So have everyone watch the show. I hope there is one more season because this show is awesome. If it doesn’t work on FOX can always try and have Sci Fi pick it up.
@ JRC- my bad man I read ur post wrong.
While I hope Strange and wonderful things happen at the One-Two Point (and I will be watching!), I must stress that I hope the show gets a little more fun and exciting (and even a bit tongue ‘n’ cheek a tiny bit– and, heck, I’ll say it: romantic) rather than dark and somber all the time.
This is especially true because of our world wide crisis (if not total meltdown and free fall that is expected to really hit this Spring) and the mood of the audience in general.
I work closely with the public in my job and the mood is nothing but worry. They’re walking on egg shells. It’s palpable. It’s real. My mother’s retirement plan(which she depends on) just took a huge hit, so I say this from a personal standpoint as well.
Due to all this (and for the show’s sake) maybe it’s time to take it up a notch on the excitement scale and really kick some Skynet ass for a change.
And as for going *positive* a teensy bit more, I leave you with a couple great retro songs from the new album “The Way I See It” by Raphael Saadiq. Why do I choose this particular album? Whenever I play this CD at the store, the mood changes IMMEDIATELY and you actually see people respond positively to the soul groove: they have a little spring in their steps.
The first one is for John and Cameron:
“Just One Kiss” (a duet with Joss Stone)

The second is for the Connors and Cameron in general:
“Keep Marchin’”

Get John out of his funk SOON! Get him away from Riley. Please! Time to find that spine! Get back to that fun-lovin’ spunky tech wizard we all enjoy!
Good luck to you all! Have a Happy and Joyous Thanksgiving with friends and family!
Wow, Well first of all the show is a drama… if your sad, Dan, may i suggest a few episodes of barney directly before and after a TSCC ep. I’m just playing but seriously… If you had a show no one would watch it… No, see I’m just playing again… I love the show and this blog but seriously do any of you stop and think to yourselves, “would I post this if I weren’t still a virgin?” I hope someone laughed at my posting because that is why I posted it. I wonder if they will even allow it…
I kind of agree and while I am truthfully a fan of the show and its cast, (they are truely a talented bunch) am not blind to some of its shortcomings and failings. What I’m about to say may seem critical, but in all fairness criticism is not always a bad thing and often leads to better things.
In any case I to would like to see a bit more liveliness in the show as well. I’m not just referring to the shooting and splosions stuff (that’s all well and good) but rather the inclusion of feelings, a laugh or two here and there, some more of those awkward and even goofy situations that have worked so well in the show thus far but are in terribly short supply.
Granted I like the show just fine as is, but I can almost understand why people might not want to come back and watch more, it has by its nature narrowed its own appeal. Sure it’s a drama, but does it have to be so bleak all the time? I mean look at John, he’s borderline pathetic. (Not a blight against Thomas mind you) He either looks depressed or angry never anything else he’s making bad decisions, bad choices, bad judgment calls etc. Sure you could say he’s acting like a kid, but I can tell you if I were in his situation, I’d be a little more open to opinion. You just want to grab him by the scruff and slap him around till he wakes up and smells the roses.
I’m also not sure about this whole demeanor change in him. Yes he killed a man; he had to as it was the guy or him and his mom. What would you have done? Move on John move on. I also don’t like what’s happened between him and Cameron. Seriously she tried to kill him, but he risked his life to fix her, and everyone in Terminator lands went Aww he really does care about her. Next thing we know he cuts his hair goes all emo and shows not only Cameron the cold shoulder but darn near everyone else as well? Everyone that is but Riley who amounts to a shoulder for him to cry on.
Look I’m not saying make the show a slap stick comedy, but a little more levity or just emotions other then sadness and anger would go a long way in spicing things up a bit, as is right now the only character that’s acting the least bit human is Cameron by virtue of her exploring what it means to be human (and also by virtue of the subtle nuances Summer provides her) beyond that its everyone else who are acting like the machines. John needs to man up a bit and be made useful again, Cameron needs to be developed more, Riley needs to go away,(great actress great performance, but the character just doesn’t work here) and the rest need to have some distractions to make them seem like people again.
Oh yeah once again vote for SCC for the People Choice Awards, and also Vote for Summer and Leena for there place on the list of top 99 Woman over at AskMen.com. You can vote once per day for both sites.
Josh, I couldn’t have said it better myself. John is definitely wearing on me the way he’s been acting, which is a cross of stupid, jerk, and downright pathetic rather than sympathetic.
Maybe John should be the one from the ComicCon panel to bite the dust if he’s not going to do anything useful, but whine and mope, be mean to his mother and Cameron, and go hang out and read Cat Fancy with Riley. Harsh, but true IMHO.
Riley is grating on me like a bad tooth, and that has nothing to do with Leven, just her character. Riley’s like anchovies on a perfectly good pizza… or maybe the worm in the bottom of a Tequila bottle.
In other words, she doesn’t belong in this story from what I’ve seen so far. She’s not good for John… she’s bad. She brings out the worst in him. If that’s the point to her character being there, it sure is working! It’s driving many of us fans batty!
I’ve seen the clips of John and Riley sharing a kiss and rather than saying, “aaaaww, isn’t that cute?” I’m throwing up in my mouth, just a little. Holy mackeral, he’s kissing the person that blinded him into doing something completely wrong and foolish going to Mexico and allowing his mom to be put in danger and got a lot of people killed!
This sure isn’t the John Connor from T2 that we all know.
And I hate saying this too. Ack! I haven’t even gotten started on Cameron’s supposed inability to gain sentience, her true emotions and her heart… [grumble, grumble]. Uncle Bob did!
