New York leads the series 5-1, and Houston's only win came in the Texans' very first season, a 16-14 decision at home on Nov. 24, 2002 against a Giants team that went on to reach the playoffs that January. Opposite conferences keep the file short: the clubs are scheduled against each other once every four years, which has produced just six meetings since Houston joined the league, and the Giants have won all five since that opener.
