The Week 1 game of the 2026 NFL season came from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT.

Carolina came into the NFL in 1995 and the two clubs have met sparingly since, which is what made a 96-point afternoon so unlikely a place for the series to arrive. Chicago's 59 points were the most the franchise has scored in a regular-season road game, per FOX Sports, and the 291 rushing yards Carolina surrendered were the number Panthers players themselves reached for afterward. No postseason meeting exists between them.
