Carolina leads the regular-season series 26-25 across 51 meetings, and the teams have never met in the playoffs. Just three came before 2002. That year both clubs moved into the new NFC South, and they have played twice a season ever since, with Tampa Bay's 48-14 win on Dec. 29, 2024 standing out as the most lopsided result. The last two meetings were split, with Carolina winning 23-20 on Dec. 21, 2025 before Tampa Bay won 16-14 on Jan. 3, 2026.
