Washington is 2-0 against Eastern Washington, and both meetings were far closer than the programs' relative sizes suggest. In the first, Eagles quarterback Bo Mitchell threw 69 times for 473 yards and Washington needed a Desmond Trufant interception with 29 seconds left to finish it. Mitchell's 69 attempts remain 10 more than any other opponent has thrown against Washington in the program's history. Keith Price went 17-of-25 for 102 yards and three touchdowns and Chris Polk ran for 125 in that game.

The second came on Sept. 6, 2014, in Chris Petersen's first season at Washington, and finished 59-52. Eastern Washington had won the Big Sky and reached the FCS semifinals the year before behind quarterback Vernon Adams, who transferred to Oregon after that season. The 111 combined points are the third-highest total in Washington football history.

Washington won the 2026 meeting 48-16 on Sept. 19 at Husky Stadium, a third straight win in a series Eastern Washington has never led.
