LiveNOW’s Shawna Khalafi is speaking to Neama Rahmani, a former federal prosecutor, as a trial begins in Kentucky for a man accused in a murder-for-hire plot related to a CHP captain’s husband. Michael Harding was discovered fatally shot at an empty home in 2022. Thomas O’Donnell has entered a plea of not guilty regarding Harding's death. O’Donnell faces a potential death sentence if he’s convicted of killing Harding, who was the husband of a captain in the California Highway Patrol.
