FOX Weather Meteorologist Steve Bender breaks down weekend storms expected to deliver a severe weather threat while bringing much-needed rain to Florida and the Southeast. A Level 2 of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms has been issued across much of Florida and into extreme southern Georgia, putting more than 4 million people in the potential path of these storms. Near-record heat will further fuel the system, creating conditions favorable for intense, long-lived storms.
