Bill called "Lorenso's Law" after a teen killed at a mall, aims to change California law to make it easier for juveniles to be charged as adults. San Francisco's Assemblymember Matt Haney is on the Public Safety Committee and missed the last vote, which was a narrow 4-3, just one vote shy of passage. AB 2040 is set for a final vote Tuesday.
