Chef Ramsay greets the nine remaining contestants in "Hell's Kitchen" and asks, "Who's married here?" Elise and Will raise their hands. The chef begins to talk about seducing the opposite sex with food, and Jennifer offers, "I know what takes the boxers off."
The chefs learn that their challenge is to create a sexy and delicious dessert in one hour. Will isn't comfortable with making sweets, but he still is going to play to win, even as he struggles to find inspiration. Over in the Red Kitchen, Jamie is having a hard time as well, as she feels pushed out of her comfort zone.
With one extra contestant on the Red Team, the ladies are forced to choose one dessert to drop. They decide to eliminate Elise's treat. Chef Ramsay welcomes two guest judges: Jordan Kahn from Red Medicine and Waylynn Lucas of fonuts.
The desserts will be rated on a star system, with each of the guests giving a dish between one and three stars. The team with the most stars wins.
First up, Tommy presents his toffee and macadamia nut sticky bun. Waylynn Lucas thinks that it's not sexy and it's undercooked. Tommy gets one star from each judge.
Jamie brings forward the Red Team's first dish: a croissant fig bread pudding with chocolate and a strawberry Champagne glaze. Jordan Kahn gives it one star because the whip cream is separating. Waylynn gives it two points.
Paul serves a banana polenta cake with a lemon mascarpone whip. Lucas says that it really shines, and both judges give him three stars each. Elizabeth's ricotta strawberry Napoleon doesn't fare as well, and she receives only three points total from the two judges.
Natalie's chocolate espresso bread pudding is overcooked, and her three-star tally wipes away some of the Blue Team's lead. Carrie apologizes for her blondie and butterscotch chips' lack of sexiness before the judges even taste it. The dish is overly sweet, and she gets only one star per judge. The men's team leads, 11 to 8.
Will is the last member up for the Blue Team, and he only needs four points to secure a win. Luckily for the women, Waylynn thinks that his dish has a rancid taste, and Will receives just two stars.
Now Jennifer has room to take home the victory for the women if she scores a perfect six. Her bananas foster with chocolate wins praise for presentation and taste, and she earns enough points to win the challenge for the Red Team.
Elise then gets an opportunity to have the judges sample her fresh berry zabaglione. "Today's your lucky day," Chef Ramsay tells her. "Let me tell you why: We're not awarding a zero." He tells the women that they made the right choice taking Elise's dish out of the competition.
The women find out that their reward is a trip to Las Vegas for a stay at a butler-staffed villa at Caesar's Palace. The Blue Team must stay behind to transform "Hell's Kitchen" into a romantic spot with a raw bar for the show's first-ever date night.
When they get to Vegas, the women get a surprise visit from Holly Madison, who is delivering her new book about Vegas, passes to her show, and tickets for each of the women to return to Vegas for a future stay with a guest. Back at the restaurant, the men de-thorn roses and chip away at an ice sculpture.
As the evening's service begins, Elise tries to take control of the Red Kitchen, but Jennifer jumps in and volunteers to run the show instead. On the Blue Team, Tommy endeavors to stay focused and prove his chops to Chef Ramsay.
Elise refuses to communicate with Carrie in the women's kitchen, putting their team in jeopardy. Tommy stalls out the men's side by incorrectly cooking the scallops. The women's team is pumping out appetizers until a hair in a dish brings them to a halt.
When Chef Ramsay sees that Tommy has started to cook entrees before he's finished appetizers, he throws the floundering competitor out of the kitchen. Then as Carrie claims that she didn't notice a piece of fish was burned when she sent it to the pass, she too is kicked out with her ruined fish in hand.
After flirting with a few pretty patrons, Tommy returns to the kitchen, and the Blue Team is able to push out appetizers. But the Red Kitchen's entrees are delayed by Jamie's missing garnish.
When Paul brings raw chicken to Chef Ramsay, he too is removed from the kitchen. Elise is the next to be expelled when she tries to serve overcooked oysters.
Two chefs down, the remaining members of the Red Team somehow pull together and manage to send out the final entrees of the night. The Blue Kitchen has also hit its stride. But there's one last surprise in "Hell's Kitchen," as a guest gets a special treat during dessert when her boyfriend proposes.
Chef Ramsay gives the win to the Blue Team and tells the women to pick two teammates for elimination. The Red Team chooses Carrie and Elise, as much for the drama they bring to the competition as for their flawed cooking.
They both plead their cases, and are both sent back to their group. Instead, Chef Ramsay announces that he's sending Jamie home. The other competitors are stunned as Jamie is told, "I can't go any further with you. I'm getting no response."
As the contestants return to the dorms, Chef Ramsay explains, "Jamie's lack of fight back told me, she's not ready to be a head chef. The remaining chefs need to know it's not about what you've done in the past, it's what they do here that counts."
