The triumph, my first kitchen hired me right out of internship and within one year of being there, I had mastered every station on the line. The disaster, I'm a klutz, so there are a lot of fingertips chopped off, deep cuts, bad burns, nasty bruises. Pretty much a few times a month.
My mom always made some of the best Gujarati foods, so first and foremost, she was my first inspiration. Honestly, food is my only inspiration. The ingredients inspire creativity and that makes my food come alive.
