Invest 94E is expected to develop into at least a Tropical Depression over the next two days. If it develops into a named storm, it would become Tropical Storm Vance, the first V-named storm in the eastern Pacific since 2018. Meanwhile, Super Typhoon Champi continues to strengthen in the Western Pacific after racing through Guam. Champi could reach maximum sustained winds of 165 mph by Wednesday before gradually weakening as it approaches southern Japan.
