"Stressed
for Success"
Episode KH813
Original Airdate: 5/2/04
When Bobby presents his oral report to his classmates, he demonstrates
that his knowledge of history is severely lacking. When asked to speak
about a real President of the United States, he chooses the man he
knows best as president, Martin Sheen.
Needless to say, Bobby receives yet another “F” for presenting
a report on a fictional, television personality. Bobby’s addiction
to the television has been detrimental to his education and Hank insists
that Bobby find an extracurricular activity that does not include
staring at the tube.
Bobby’s attempt to join the chess club fails, but when the
Quiz Bowl team discovers Bobby’s knowledge of pop culture, they
welcome him into their group. With Bobby’s help, the team continues
to advance to the Quiz Bowl Championship. Bobby just might be their
key to winning the coveted championship title; however, the futures
of his teammates rest heavily on his shoulders.
The pressure becomes too intense, and Bobby is sent into a frenzied
panic attack in the middle of the Megalomart. Bobby is ready to quit
the team to eliminate the stress all together, but Hank reminds him
that stress cannot be avoided, it can only be managed. Regardless,
Bobby is still reluctant to participate in the championship, but agrees
to give it his best shot when Hank offers his reassurance.
