As the seniors made plans for post-graduation life, Puck told Finn that he hoped to open a pool cleaning service in Los Angeles. He wanted Finn to be his partner and was disappointed when Finn told him about his own plans to be with Rachel in New York City.
With the end of the year fast approaching, Puck discovered that he would not graduate if he failed his geography exam, so he recruited his New Directions friends to help him study. But, despite their best efforts, he still did not pass.
Coach Beiste took pity on Puck and persuaded his teacher to let him retake the test. With the help of the coach and Quinn, who confessed her love for him, Puck passed the test and was able to graduate with his fellow seniors.
Dallas-born Mark Salling has always known that music is his destiny. A classically-trained pianist, who has also mastered the guitar, bass and drums, Salling grew up playing in various cover bands with friends. He also caught the acting bug early on, starring in national commercials and films, including "Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering" and "Walker, Texas Ranger."
After graduating high school, Salling made the move to Hollywood. Teaching guitar lessons on the side, he enrolled in the Los Angeles Music Academy in Pasadena. He continues to refine his craft by writing new songs and performing original music. He recently launched his record label, Pipe Dream Records, with the release of his debut solo album, "Pipe Dreams."
He spends much of his time with the Wildlife Care of Ventura County as well as the American Red Cross. Additionally, he spends his free time working on new music, playing frisbee golf, traveling and advancing his unusual passion for ornithology.
He currently resides in Los Angeles.
