Are you in school? If so, which one and how long? Did you graduate?
I am not currently in school. I graduated last year from Timpanogos High School and then went to Utah Valley University for Fall Semester.
How old were you when you started dancing?
Ballroom when I was 9 in an after-school program. I started getting training at 14..with close to two years of off time since.
Do you have any formal dance training?
Yes
If you had to categorize your dance style, what would it be?
Latin
What other talents/hobbies do you have?
Singing
Who is your favorite professional dancer?
Too many to count
Does anyone in your family dance professionally?
No! ahah
Have you performed in musical theater or in public functions as a dancer?
Lots of shows across the us
What would you like to see happen to you as a result of the show?
Learn and grow in dance through working with amazing choreographers - a once in a lifetime opportunity. Find opportunities to continue to dance and make a living at helping teach others to learn to dance and love it the way I do.
Where would you like to be in 10 years and what would you like to be doing?
Married probably, teaching dance and continuing to dance myself.
What has been your most memorable dance experience?
Being a world representative for the United States, winning my first national title when I was only 11, making my first international final, and being on Team USA.
What have you learned so far in going through the audition process for this show?
Wow, a lot - that you can't worry too much about everyone else around you, all you can do is YOUR best. Especially in the audition process, you never want to get too caught up in other people, believe in yourself and your capabilities, and remember that everything happens for a reason whether you make it or you don't, that is what kept me calm through out the process.
What are your favorite dance moments from movies, TV and/or stage?
Haha - the movie "girls just want to have fun"...the whole thing, haha its just a kick in the pants.
Which choreographers would you like to work with?
All of them on the show!!! I can't wait to work with them on all styles of dance!
