Peter performed a Quickstep number with Pauline. Adam enjoyed the performance and said "Peter was on fire."

Top 18 - 11 / 03 / 09

Peter Sabasino tackled jazz choreography with his new partner, Pauline. Adam appreciated Peter's ability to transform into the character he was asked to portray.

Top 20 - 10 / 27 / 09

Peter Sabasino learned hip hop choreography with Ariana Debose. Although Peter was dancing out of his element, Adam Shankman said "I like you both so much."

Meet Top 20 - 10 / 26 / 09

Peter Sabasino joined Bianca and Phillip in a first ever SYTYCD tap routine. When Nigel said the tappers will be dancing everyone's style but no one will dance tap, Peter assured him that they "can do it!"

Las Vegas - 10 / 22 / 09

Remaining positive, Peter Sabasino said he hoped for all three tappers to advance to the Top 20. Peter got his wish: he joined Bianca and Phillip in the Top 20.

Yes…I’ve been trained in all styles for about 16 years.

Featured dancer in Boscov’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2003-2004. Hired dancer for Rohm and Haas award ceremony.
If you had to categorize your dance style, what would it be?
Gregory Hines, Jimmy Slyde, and Savion Glover all rolled into one
What other talents/hobbies do you have?
I can play the drums, I can do a great impression of Kermit the frog, I beatbox, and I love to write.
Who is your favorite professional dancer?
Gregory Hines…hands down.
Does anyone in your family dance professionally?
No…but it’s funny to watch them try. LOL.
Was there a family member or friend who inspired you to dance?
No

Yes, I danced in Wizard of Oz as a child.
What has been your most memorable dance experience?
I received a choreography award for a tap tribute I did to Gregory Hines.
What have you learned so far in going through the audition process for this show?
Expect the unexpected
What are your favorite dance moments from movies, TV and/or stage?
The Nicholas Brothers’ duet in Stormy Weather

Tyce, Mia, and Lil C.

I haven’t.
What style do you hope to pick out of the hat? Which style of dance are you afraid to get?
I hope to get hip hop and I’m afraid of Russian folk.
Is there a particular type of dance that you don’t know but want to learn?
Bollywood, definitely.

Brandon, because he was a powerhouse
What do you hope to gain from this experience?
A deeper knowledge and love of dance
What does making it to the Top 20 mean to you?
The world. It’s something I’ve wanted forever.

I don’t go anywhere without my tap shoes.

I was born in Philadelphia, P.A., and began dancing at age 4. I went to The Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts, went to college for dance, and own a dance studio in Philadelphia. I've trained with Gregory Hines and Savion Glover.
