Karen took on Broadway choreography with Kevin. Adam said he liked seeing her play a character that she hasn't portrayed on the show thus far.

Karen mastered Hustle choreography with Kevin. Nigel said that this style of dance suits her and " You add something to whatever choreography you're given."

Karen Hauer danced a "Nappy Tabs" hip hop routine with Kevin. Although Karen is a ballroom dancer, the judges were blown away by her, and Nigel said she's "a real pleasure to watch" and a "true performer."

Latin ballroom dancer Karen Hauer got to perform a Cha Cha with partner Kevin Hunte. Mary called her sharp, rhythmical, and sexy before giving her the first pass of the season to hop aboard the Hot Tamale Train.

I hope to gain more knowledge and even more passion for dance. I'm falling in love with dance all over again.
What does making it to the Top 20 mean to you?
It means that all my hard work is paying off and all the tears and sweat and screaming and laughter were all worth it.

About Karen Hauer

I was born in Venezuela and came to the USA at 8 years old with my mom, dad, brother, and sister. My father abandoned us a year after arriving to the U.S. My mother raised us alone in a new country. I started dancing shortly after I was picked from a school-wide audition. I took all my feelings, emotions, and bad/good experiences and used them as fuel for my dancing.
