FOX NFL Kickoff Analyst One of the most decorated NFL wide receivers of all time, Julian Edelman joined FOX Sports as an NFL analyst on FOX NFL KICKOFF prior to the 2023-24 season. A key member of the New England Patriots dynasty, Edelman emerged as a primary starter after transitioning from the role of return specialist. Known for performing at his best in crucial situations, Edelman would go on to be one of the greatest postseason performers in the history of professional football. A three-time Super Bowl champion and Super Bowl LVIII MVP, Edelman ranks third in postseason yards and receptions and holds the Super Bowl records for punt returns and first-half receptions in a single game. Known for his fierce competitive spirit dating back to his days as a quarterback at College of San Mateo and then Kent State University, Edelman finished his collegiate career with 4,997 yards and 30 touchdowns. A seventh-round pick by the Patriots in 2009, Edelman enjoyed an 11-season NFL career, totaling 620 receptions for 6,822 receiving yards and 36 touchdowns with a 11.0 average per catch. Edelman would be named to the Patriots All-2010s Team and the Patriots All-Dynasty team. Following retirement, Edelman joined “Inside the NFL” as an analyst on Paramount+ and was nominated for a Sports Emmy in 2022 for his first season on the program. Edelman has written several books including ‘Flying High’, a book about a squirrel named Jules who learns to overcome his physical limitations through hard work, and his memoir ‘Relentless.’ Edelman has also established himself as an entrepreneur, co-founding an athletic focused production company, Coast Productions, as well as his own clothing line, JE11.
