REGIS PHILBIN RINGS IN 2006 ON THE ALL-NEW SPECIAL “NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE” SATURDAY, DECEMBER 31, ON FOX

Legendary television personality Regis Philbin will stay up late to capture the energy and excitement from New York City’s Times Square, the epicenter of the country’s largest New Year’s countdown celebration. As 2006 nears and the Big Apple swells with partygoers, Philbin will make his FOX network debut to host the late-night special, which will feature musical performances by today’s hottest artists, celebrity interviews and a look back at 2005’s most memorable moments in pop culture. The excitement will peak when the famed New Year’s Eve Ball makes its descent in Times Square, and the crowd erupts to welcome in 2006.
