      • Jimmy had just started his love affair with fire and explosives at the Radish Harvest Festival when he was a child.
      • Years ago, Barney encouraged families to participate in the candy sale to help them get better entertainment for next year's festival.
      • Virginia relaxes after a day of handing out fliers at the festival. She and Rose agree to not be the kind of parents who do everything for their kids, but they both go back on their word.
      • In a flashback, Virginia and Burt attend the Natesville Thanksgiving Day Festival in which Jimmy got to play the little Pilgrim. It was great to see Jimmy so happy, but Virginia realized there no winners in a candy war.
      • Maw Maw makes her famous chocolate bars to help Hope win the candy selling competition.
      • To keep Hope in the running to be the Little Pilgrim, Jimmy agrees to wear a wire that will expose Virginia as a cheater.
      • Things at the chocolate factory were really getting out of control. With all the sugar they've had, no one has slept for days.

      • Tamara's mother knew she'd pick the comfortable seat. She's a spoiled brat, and for that, she is not getting any money.
      • Sabrina, the only one in the family who has not been divorced, finds out that her nana has left her the house. The only catch is that she can't move in until she gets married.
