It was the summer of '83.Our parents had decided to take a road trip in a slighty used Cadillac, to Arizona to see my aunt then head north to Reno and then back home to Kentucky. On the way home we stayed over night in Colorado. Back on the road for about 3 hrs our rear tire under the gas tank was on fire going down the road. Everybody was honking and pointing. TRUE STORY!

My family and I were going to Orlando to spend our vacations, but when we were doing our check in at the airport we discovered that we couldn't travel to Orlando. So my mom sad "No I am already at this airport so i am traveling." Then she, in the same day, brought tickets so we could go to London and made reservation in a hotel. That same day we went to London.

On a road trip with my uncle and my newly-divorced mom, my uncle thought passing gas was funny so he did it A LOT. It was awful so I complained loudly. Fart, complain, fart, complain, fart, complain. Finally my mom had enough and pulled onto the shoulder of the busy freeway, made us get out, and she drove away. She drove quite a while before coming back to get us.
