Submit Another StoryWhen I was 7, my sister (14) was able to babysit me. My sister and I went for a bike ride while my older sister was asleep. We put a note on the fridge so she could see. When we returned home, we were locked outside so we decided to climb through a window only to be greeted by 3 cops with their guns pointed at us. My sister had called the cops because we were missing!
My whole family was out camping. My sister and I thought it would be fun to go for a walk in the woods with a friend. We came up on a opening, and couldn't find our way back. We tried calling our parents and everything. We were gone for HOURS. These guys riding four wheelers picked us up, and we acted like we were dying. Ends up, we were just in a huge construction site!
My mom told me one day that when I was 4 weeks old, she, my father (bless his soul), and I went to Walmart. After my father had put up the cart, he went and got into the car. My mother looked at him and asked, "Choco, where's Nat?" My father replied, "Oh crud! I forgot the baby! I'm sorry, Ma, I'm new to this." He was referring to parenthood. Heh... o_O
Once, my brother woke up and was hungry. He went to the very pricey food store. We were at a family reunion. We didn't see him in his bed, so we thought he had run away. Instead, he was eating down there.
My family went to Chicago by train, so we had no means of transportation there. My uncle decided we should go to the other side of Chicago. We couldn't find a large taxi, so we asked a small one how many of us could fit. He replied, "As many as you can." There we go, 9 people fitting in a small compact car. My little sister and cousin laid across us!
When I was really little, I liked hiding in clothes racks. I hid in one and my mum and sister went to look at something else. I couldn't find them so I went down to the car park to find them. A security guard came and took me back up to the store. Mum was there and she was hysterical. Let's just say I never did that again.
I got lost for 3 hours in a town I wasn't familiar with. Three hours we drove around trying to find this road to my friend's house. When I finally got in touch with her and told her where I was, she walked outside and whistled at me. How bad is it that I was lost for 3 hours right in front of my destination? Blonde moment!
One hot summer morning, I fell asleep in the last row of our van. Half an hour later, I woke up (hot & lost) in an empty van, parked in my grandparents' driveway. I got out and the alarm went off. I rang the bell. My grandpa opened the door, looked at me for a second, then he went back to the TV as if I was a grown up who just stopped by. o_O
One day on vacation, my mom thought I was missing and looked everywhere for me in the hotel. The whole time, I was sleeping in the room next to hers where I was supposed to sleep.
When I was in kindergarten, my mom wanted to know what I would do if I came home and she wasn't there. She went to our neighbor's house, expecting me to go over there, too. However, I called the police crying about my mommy going missing. The police arrived and then yelled at my mother for traumatizing me.
