Crazy Stories:

Hazard

I had a crazy aunt (Margaret) who reminds me of Maw Maw. We went to pick her up to bring her home for Christmas and she had her poodles in diapers, was shooting mice in the house with a toy dart gun, and had spent so much time sitting in one place that a spider actually built a web in her hair! I'M NOT KIDDING! Love your show. It makes me feel guilty laughing at it!

Lucky to be Alive

When my sister was about 11, she and I were grounded. She was feeling sick and my dad thought she was faking it to get out of patching up all the spots on the deck (our punishment). When we were finished, my sister was visibly ill. Later that day, our dad drove us to the doctor who said her appendix was close to bursting and told us to go to the ER immediately!

Property Damage

One day, my family was sitting at the dinner table and arguing when suddenly my father picked up his steak knife and tossed it behind him. The knife flew through the kitchen and over the sink into the wall! The knife was stuck in the wall, perfectly thrown without looking. "Do it again, Dad!" my sister and I laughed. He just looked at us and smirked devilishly. He won.

My mom and I were at a Winn Dixie at closing time. I was 6 years old and I was crying for something I wanted but she wouldn't get. She finally got annoyed with me and came around, opened my door, sat me on the bench in front of the store, and drove off. I was so scared I couldn't even cry. That was the longest 10 minutes of my life! I started acting better after that!

Friends

Related

Me and friends always went to an empty piece of land down the road and it had an old boat. Every day, we tried to flip it over and every day we brought more friends to help. We almost had it flipped when everyone let go but me. It fell on my legs and after they finally got it off, my friends had to carry me 3 blocks home because I couldn't unbend my legs. Never again!

Crazy Parent

Related

When I was young, my family had a VW van - the kind that had the engine between the front seats. From a large family, we still didn't have enough room. My parents put a cushion on the engine thus creating a seat for two of us. We learned real early not to rest our bare legs against the side of the engine.

Relatives

While my mother was on the phone in the kitchen, my older sister and I decided to get ice from the freezer. For some reason, she put her tongue on the inside of the freezer and started yelling. Mother unstuck her and yelled at her. While the chair was still there, I thought I would give it a try. Yeah. It's not fun and don't try this at home.

Relatives

We had eleven siblings so there was always a baby in the house. My mom would torment us by chasing us around the house with poopy diapers! She got a kick out of it!

My brothers and I were playing hide-and-seek. My parents just got a new dryer and my older brother told me to hide in the new dryer and he would hide in the old one. Well, little did he know that the new dryer turned on when you closed the door. He stood there laughing at me as I spun around. Thankfully, my other brothers came down in time and pulled me out!

Lucky to be Alive

My sister and brother and I dared our brother Tim to put his hand in a squirrel's nest in the tree out front. He did and was bit! He had to get rabies shots. It is still funny years later. Just how stupid was he! We were grounded for that!
