When my sister was about 11, she and I were grounded. She was feeling sick and my dad thought she was faking it to get out of patching up all the spots on the deck (our punishment). When we were finished, my sister was visibly ill. Later that day, our dad drove us to the doctor who said her appendix was close to bursting and told us to go to the ER immediately!

As a teenager, I was grounded from driving for going through a yellow light. I found out that I had my 1st motorcycle ride from my dad at 6 weeks old while zipped up in his leather jacket. When I dared to question the act, he said "Oh, it was okay." His buddy the chief of police was with him and it was only 6 blocks. No big deal. And MY judgement was under question?

When I was 9, we played hide and seek. I convinced my younger brother to hide in a dog crate in the storage closet in our apartment complex. After locking it, I found out it needed a key to open. After an hour or so, I called 911 thinking maybe my mom would not find out and I wouldn't get in trouble. I didn't see daylight for a month!

My grandmother spoils our two cats. She puts out ice water and treats three times a day. For some reason, the cats wouldn't eat the green colored treats so they were left on the counter. My mom went to make biscuits and rolled them out on the counter without whipping it off first! I found a green cat treat in mine! What else has been transferred from counter to food?

Hazard

The road leading to our house is scary in the winter. One night, my mom, sister and I got stuck driving up. My sister took a safer route up our road but Mom decided it took long, so she and I walked across the icy road. We held hands so we wouldn't fall. Well, my mom let go. I fell slowly began sliding down the road. I yelled for someone to help, but no one did :(

My sister was about three years old when she decided to pretend that our blue carpet was a swimming pool. It was all fun and games until she used the couch as a diving board and cut her eyelid open on a paper clip that I had been trying to make into a bracelet.

When my twin sister Wind and I were about four, we had a Barbie jeep. It was the first and last time Wind let me drive. Well, I got in and took off full speed toward the pool. My mother was on the porch and thought I would stop. Well, she was wrong. I was soon speeding toward the pool and she was yelling, "Let off the gas! Let off the gas!"

This is about my brother. He was playing baseball with my neighbors and his friends. All of a sudden, someone threw the ball at him. He turned his head sideways then the ball hit him. He fell and had to go to the emergency room. His ear was bleeding really bad, but guess what? My parents wouldn't even let him miss a day of school so he had to go! ~Kat
