The “Break Into Alcatraz” Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") begins 4:00 pm PST, on Monday, March 19, 2007 and ends 6:00 pm PST on Friday, March 30, 2007. Sweepstakes is sponsored by Fox Interactive Media, Inc., 407 N. Maple Drive, Beverly Hills, California 90210 ("Sponsor"), and is hosted by Fox.com. The prize administrator of the Sweepstakes is Visionworks Promotion, Event & Creative Development Company (“Prize Administrator”).
1. ELIGIBILITY. Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii, who are 21 years of age or older (and not a minor in his/her state of residence) at the time of their registration and who have Internet access as of March 18, 2007. Employees, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives of Sponsor, Fox Broadcasting Company, Twentieth Century Fox Television, Prize Administrator, Cisco, or of the promotion and advertising agencies of either, and their immediate family members and those living in their household, and each person or entity connected with the production, administration or judging of the Sweepstakes, and each parent company, affiliate, subsidiary, agent and representative of any aforementioned entity are not eligible. Sweepstakes void where prohibited and outside of the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii.
2. HOW TO ENTER. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter, watch Prison Break on Fox on either March 19 or 26, then visit www.fox.com\prisonbreak, where you will be directed to the entry page by links throughout the Fox.com network. You will then be prompted to answer a question specific to the Prison Break episode which aired that night. There will be one question for the March 19 episode and one question for the March 26 episode. Each question will be posted online after that week’s episode has aired. A correct answer is not required for entry. A correct answer will not increase your chances of winning. Once you have answered the question, you may register for the Sweepstakes by providing your full name, e-mail address, full mailing address, telephone number and any other requested and required information. Only online entry is permitted. Limit one entry per person and per e-mail address. If multiple entries are received, only the last will be eligible. Multiple entries or entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Each entrant must be the rightful owner (or have authorized use) of the e-mail address identified in the entrant’s entry as of March 18, 2007. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner, the winner will be deemed to be the person in whose name the e-mail account governing the e-mail address was opened. Entrants must provide all information requested to be eligible to win. Incomplete, unreadable, or unintelligible entries will be disqualified. All entries must be received by March 30, 2007 by 6:00 pm PST. All information provided by entrants becomes the property of Sponsor.
3. SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS. On or about the week of April 2, 2007, one (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected by random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Limit one prize per person or household. The selected winners will be notified by telephone and/or e-mail on or about the week of April 2, 2007. Potential winner must be able to receive telephone calls from an unlisted and/or blocked number. Selected winners will be required to respond (as directed) to the telephone and/or e-mail notification within 72 hours of attempted notification. The failure to respond timely to the notification may result in forfeiture of the prize and, in such case, Sponsor will select randomly an alternate winner from among the remaining eligible entries. On or about the week of April 2, 2007, each selected winner will also be sent an affidavit of eligibility/liability/publicity release ("Release"). Unless restricted by law, each selected winner may be required to complete and return the Release within the time period specified therein. The prize may be forfeited and, in such case, an alternate winner will be selected randomly from among the remaining eligible entries if a selected winner: (i) cannot be reached; (ii) fails to obtain all signatures on the Release and to return the documents as required pursuant to these Official Rules; or (iii) cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason.
4. PRIZES. One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a trip for two (2) to San Francisco, CA for 3 days/2 nights. Trip includes roundtrip coach air transportation for two (2) from the major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner’s residence to San Francisco, CA, two (2) nights hotel accommodations at a first-class hotel (as determined by Sponsor) (standard, double occupancy), a day trip to Alcatraz for two (2), $1,000 in spending money, and roundtrip ground transportation from airport to hotel. Approximate retail value of all prizes is $3750.00. Actual value may vary depending on location of winner’s residence and dates of departure. Winner and guest must be at least 21 years old (and not a minor in his/her state of residence) and will be required to sign and return a release of liability/publicity prior to issuance of travel documents. Winner is responsible for obtaining all travel documents. Winner is solely responsible for all trip expenses not specified herein as being awarded, including taxes, meals, ground transportation and gratuities. Hotel accommodations and air transportation based upon availability. Winner and guest must travel on same itinerary, and travel arrangements must be made through Sponsor, on a carrier of Sponsor’s choice, at least 21 days prior to travel. Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes (if any), and all expenses related to prize not specified in these Official Rules. Prize winners cannot assign or transfer the prize to another person. No cash or prize substitution is allowed except at the discretion of Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or prize component) with one of comparable or greater value. All prizes will be awarded. If a prize cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the control of Sponsor, a substitute prize of equal or greater retail value will be awarded; provide, however, that if prizes are awarded but unclaimed/forfeited by recipient, prize may not be re-awarded, in Sponsor's sole discretion.
5. ODDS. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
6. CONDITIONS. Sweepstakes is subject to these Official Rules. By participating, entrants agree: (i) to be bound by these complete Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and Prize Administrator which shall be final and binding; and (ii) to waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules. By accepting a prize, winners agree to release Sponsor, Fox Broadcasting Company, Twentieth Century Fox Television, Prize Administrator, Cisco, and News America, Inc. (including the parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities of each) together with the respective directors, employees, officers, licensees, licensors and agents of each, including without limitation, their respective advertising and promotion entities and any person or entity associated with the production, judging, or administration of the Sweepstakes, (collectively, the "Releasees') from any and all liability, loss or damage arising from or in connection with awarding, receipt and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activities. Entrants hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any claim, liability, injury, damage or other loss arising out of or related to your participation in the Sweepstakes, including any failure on your part to fully comply with these Official Rules, and any acceptance, use or misuse of any prize.
Sponsor reserves the right to use the Sweepstakes for publicity purposes in any media, and to use the names, likenesses, and hometown names and/or prize information of winners as part of that publicity, without any compensation or prior review unless prohibited by law. Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of winner. This offer is void outside the continental US, Alaska and Hawaii and where prohibited or restricted by law, and subject to applicable federal, state and local laws. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or violating these Official Rules. The Releasees shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, stolen, misdirected, postage-due, incomplete unreadable, inaccurate, garbled or unintelligible entries, communications or affidavits, regardless of the method of transmission; (ii) telephone system, telephone or computer hardware, software or other technical or computer malfunctions, lost connections, disconnections, delays or transmission errors; (iii) data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry or other materials; (iv) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes; or (v) any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participating in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with this Sweepstakes, and reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should a virus, bug, computer problem, unauthorized intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control, corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor may prohibit you from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in their sole discretion, they determine you are attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or any other unfair playing practices of intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other players or Sponsor representatives. This Sweepstakes will be governed by the internal laws of the State of California. Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY FEES) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

8. WINNERS LIST. For a list of the names of the Sweepstakes winners, available after the week of April 30, 2007, send your request in a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Fox Interactive Media, Break Into Alcatraz Sweepstakes Winners List, 407 N. Maple Drive, Beverly Hills, California 90210. Request must be received by July 30, 2007.
