My mother was definitely the main influence on my love for food. She taught me at a young age how rewarding it can be to cook and entertain for friends and family. She inspired me to get in the kitchen, cook with an abundance of love, and HAVE FUN!

Recently, I have been obsessed with Thomas Keller’s cauliflower gratin recipe from his “Bouchon” cookbook. Its creamy, cheesy, and a great balance in savory flavors.
I really enjoy making curries from scratch. They have a lot of ingredients and need to be balanced just right to achieve that harmony of flavors.
When it comes to potlucks, my favorite things to bring are dips. From guacamole to homemade salsa, you can’t go wrong with fresh, flavorful dips to please a crowd.
My favorite cuisine would have to be Mexican. I am really drawn to citrus and spice in food, which makes Mexican an obvious choice. Along with the great flavors, Mexican cuisine is full of bright colors which makes the food that much more appealing to the eater.
I would really enjoy taking a trip to China to experience their cuisine firsthand. The unique and bizarre foods offered there are very intriguing to me. I also adore street food, and China is known for some of the best.

I never once considered trying out until a friend of mine sent me the link and told me to give it a go. I figured it would be a great experience and quite exciting to see if I had what it took to succeed in the kitchen. It also didn’t hurt to think Chef Ramsay would be critiquing my dishes!
Meatloaf! So versatile, you can throw any and everything into it. Pair it up with some potatoes and green beans and you have yourself a tasty meal. I mean a loaf of meat! You cannot go wrong!
