My dad and my uncles are my cooking inspirations. I grew up next to a grill and there's just nothing like it. The smell, the fire, it's just awesome.?
I have to be honest. I really don't follow food online that much. But I can admit I definitely enjoy checking out what the Bravado Spice guys are up to. Other than that I'm straight addicted to food television. ?
My favorite thing to eat is beef in any of its capacities. Least favorites are liver, sauerkraut, and canned tuna fish. Ear plugs in my nostrils every time I get near them.
My favorite meal to cook is for Thanksgiving. We hosted 40 people last year and it's absolute mayhem trying to manage 3 ovens, 2 stoves, a grill crockpot, and microwaves to get everything on the table at once. It's awesome. 20 pounds of bacon ranch mashed potatoes and there is never any left!
Buffalo Chicken Rangoon! Or Lobsters. Few things can part the people sea like a deep fryer or a propane steamer.
My favorite type of cuisine is anything cooked over a fire.
When it comes to traveling for food, the first thought in my mind is always Italy. I'm thinking maybe a cruise to hit the entire Mediterranean coast would be perfect. Greece, Italy, Spain, France. Boom!
I used to listen to the weather channel for the jazz music to cook to. Depending on the mood I could be caught listening to: "Who Did You Think I Was" by John Mayer's, "So This is Love" by Van Halen, And anything by The Story So Far and The Wonder Years. ?
I literally didn't even know what MasterChef was until my hockey buddy?s sister saw my food on Facebook and told me to tryout. I thought it would be a good learning experience and honestly never thought I was going to make the show. Each step of the way through the audition process I kept asking myself, "wait seriously? I'm still in the hunt?"?
My favorite comfort food is probably mac and cheese because it's impossible to get sick of. Either that or a massive cheeseburger with chips and dip in front of a 70" screen with the Bruins, Patriots or Red Sox.
Relaxing. Therapeutic. Stuffed.
