Chapter 712
After Malcolm refuses to meet with college recruiters, Hal takes over. He treats each one as a suitor and accepts their gifts as his own. Malcolm decides on Harvard, but Hal steals their acceptance letter. He finally admits to loving the attention from the colleges because Malcolm is the most important thing he has ever produced in his life.
Reese lives in the garage with his new bride, Raduca. Yet he hasn’t slept with her in order to respect her six month waiting period. Lois is impressed with their mature relationship and the changes that she has noticed in Reese. After Raduca fails the INS test, Reese catches her with another man.
Dewey visits a broke, disheveled Francis, and encourages him to get a job. Just as Francis dons a suit and heads out for an interview, his rocker friend shows up with a job as tour manager. Lois scolds Dewey for getting an F on his English paper, but Dewey knows that things just rock on and take care of themselves.
