JESSICA STAYS OVER Air Date 11/4/05
Chapter 705

Lois denies Malcolm the use of the family car, and she insists that Jessica use it instead. Jessica stays over for a week and lends Malcolm her manipulation advice -- the most important of which being the use of emotional vulnerability. It works on Lois at first, but Malcolm is unable to control his emotions and forgets that he is trying to manipulate her in the first place. Jessica uses it to manipulate Malcolm into luring Lois away from the house so that she can have a date with Mike Chen. Malcolm, overly emotional again, confesses to Lois and ruins Jessica's date with his crying.

Reese writes to his Chinese pen pal, asking for an apology for Pearl Harbor. When he refuses, Reese decides to get himself grounded, pack a crate, and mail himself off to China to kick the pen pal's ass. He enlists Dewey to ship him as well as maintain the facade that Reese is grounded in the bedroom. Dewey dumps Reese in the garage and feigns traveling effects upon the outside of Reese's crate. Lois catches him, but she's OK with the lie because Reese has plenty of food and water. Once Reese is appropriately delirious, Dewey gets Mike Chen to open the crate. Reese staggers to his feet and Mike kicks his ass, leaving Dewey pleased.

Hal battles with the backyard bees, leaving him afraid to leave the house as they dive bomb him. One rogue bee even chases Hal's car and runs him off the road. Hal crashes into a tree, killing the bee and wrecking the car.
