IDA LOSES A LEG

Chapter 614
Ida comes to visit and saves Dewey from getting hit by a truck and in the
process she loses her leg. Lois and Francis go to Canada to take care of
her. Francis and Ida are fighting constantly, and Lois pleads with Francis
to find some common ground with her. They finally bond over how much they
both dislike Lois.
Francis discovers that Lois sent him to live with Ida when he was a baby because he was too much to handle. He attacks Lois and she gives him a heartfelt apology for being a bad mother to him. Stunned, Francis must deal with the fact that his mother has given him the apology he wanted and he still isn’t happy.
Meanwhile, back at home, Dewey tries to bury Ida’s leg to get over
his guilt. Hal shows up with a dog and it steals Ida’s leg and eats
it under the house. Hal tells Dewey that Ida saving him was the only thing
that might help her get into heaven since she is so terrible. Dewey feels
better and they get rid of the dog. Malcolm and Reese try to glue each other’s
head to the floor.
