Chapter 610

Malcolm buys a trashed vintage muscle car. The car is constantly breaking down and he spends all of his time attempting to get it running. Stevie feels neglected that Malcolm has been flaking on him lately to work on his car, and Reese is none to pleased either because that leaves him no time to help him with his underage horseracing betting scam he’s got going on.

Reese, Stevie, and a mechanic stage an intervention for him. They tell Malcolm that the car is killing him, and that it’s caused him to abandon his friends. Malcolm doesn’t care until he is working on his car and gets trapped inside with the engine running and the garage door closed – it is Stevie that come to his rescue.

Meanwhile Reese is left to pick his own horses for a race and accidentally chooses the winning horse and wins $11,500, but can’t collect because he needs to fill out a tax form and is obviously underage so he pays Craig to turn in the winning ticket.

Hal discovers that he has a talent for cutting hair and soon runs a salon out of the kitchen. At the salon customers dish about their problems and it is here that Lois discovers that Craig is having an affair with their boss’ wife! Lois confronts Craig with her news and he tells her that he is in love with her. Craig realizes that having an affair is wrong so he proposes to his boss’ wife over the Lucky aide loudspeaker and presents her with a ring he bought for $11,500 – in Reese’s money.
