BILLBOARD Original Air Date 1/30/05
Chapter 609

Lois catches Reese, Malcolm, and Dewey vandalizing a trashy billboard ad for a strip club, with a picture of a scantily clad woman on it. In an act of desperation, Malcolm changes the vandalism to a women’s rights protest.

Lois knows that it is just a cover, but a few other women overhear the boys, and encourage them. It soon becomes a huge media circus complete with feminists, conservative religious groups, and national new reporters.

Hal show up on the scene as well and talks with several reporters. Wendy, a woman from Hal’s past, walks up. He hasn’t seen her in 21 years, and she came when she saw him on television and Hal goes to great lengths to hide from her.

Lois finally is able to trick the police into forcing them down by saying that Dewey is a diabetic, but not before Reese gives an impassioned speech about the objectification of women inspired by the giant billboard woman that comes to life in his dream.

At home, the family sees Wendy on television, talking to a reporter. She reveals 20 years ago, Hal owed her $400, and he faked his own death to get out of paying her.
