When I was in the sixth grade and I found out that it was cooking classes available.
I wanted to prove to all the people that told me I couldn’t be a Chef because from where I came from. That I could and would be on Hell’s Kitchen one day! I tried to get on in 2007 but was told I was too young.
Just being able to work side by side every day with Chef Ramsay and Chef Andi was an experience in itself.
Chef Ramsay taught me how to make simple food look sexy without overcrowding the plate.
Fried Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese and Collard Greens. It brings me back to my family and how much I miss home!
I'm allergic to shellfish, and I still know how to cook it and make it taste good.
Keep God first, your family second; next the love of food and everything else will fall in line for you to be a great chef. All you have to do is have the desire to learn at all times to taste the great food that you’re cooking.
