I think it’s safe to say 9 out of 10 Eliza/Joss fans hate the poster. And the logo. I hope they come up with something else before the big marketing blitz starts in a couple of months.
Please advertise this show. When I try to talk to people about it, only Joss fans have ANY clue what I’m talking about. I’ve never seen an ad for it. I only know because I’m a Joss fan. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE run some advertising! You’ve made the show. Now give it a chance at success.
Love,
A loyal viewer who will be much more loyal if you support this show
YEEHAW & YAHOO!! A new Joss Whedon show! I CAN’T WAIT! But I hope Fox does them better this time. Firefly was a show that wasn’t given a good enough chance. I believe if they had show the ‘pilot’ first, it would have had a bigger following. But I will watch any show by Joss, especially starring one of his best stars, Eliza (loved her in Tru Calling too). I have everything by Joss on DVD, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, plus I have Tru Calling too. But I agree with Erin from above…FOX ARE YOU LISTENING, START ADVERTISING THIS SHOW TO GET PEOPLE INTERESTED. Right now the only ones buzzing about it are hard core Joss fans!
I know us English have no influence on U.S. television schedules, but a lot of us have read and enjoyed the scripts for Drive. To many fans of Joss Whedon and Tim Minear here in the U.K., it is the most popular show we enjoyed without ever watching it - a missed opportunity for Fox on oversea sales. Perhaps a U.K. dvd release would re-address that issue.
Despite Fox being a U.S. television network, it has quickly earned a bad rep over here as the channel that no longer gives innovative concepts a chance to grow. After Drive, Firefly and Tru Calling I hope they prove us wrong with a long and succesful run for Dollhouse.
As Nick has just commented: Don’t Let U.S. viewers down.
Us Brits are looking forward to having a Fox television production among their viewing schedules once more.
Please FOX advertise!! There is only so much Joss fans can do!!! I loved Buffy, Angel, and Firefly and I didn’t even see any of them on air! I own them though! Also, I have gotten some friends obsessed with Joss Whedon shows recently so that just shows that he’s still amazing and people are still watching and getting into his stuff!! Plus, Dr. Horrible was a big hit so that should help get people to learn about Joss Whedon! Please give Dollhouse a chance!!!!!!
I just found a link to this on fancast.com. I love Joss!!!!!! I can’t wait to see this show. FOX PLEASE be smart for once and keep a good show on the air! I am still mad about New Amsterdam getting canned. If this show gets canceled after the first season I am boycotting FOX. Who’s with me?
You see FOX? Everyone loves Joss and his work, so show him some love, and give “Dollhouse” a fighting chance. Advertise as much as possible, prove you have faith in this project. As many others have pointed out in their comments… the only people who seem to even know that “Dollhouse” is coming are devoted Joss fans. Let’s be real for a moment… we all know your network messed up BIG TIME with the way “Firefly” was handled. So, handel “Dollhouse” better, or you just might end up with yet another of the best sci-fi dramas of all time, that you will look back on and think…”Well darn, we screwed up AGAIN”.
