Lois is at the end of her rope when Peter uses her rainy day fund to purchase "Volcano Insurance" from a sleazy door-to-door salesman. Peter notices that Cleveland's and Quagmire's money guys are Jewish, and instantly decides that he needs a Jew too! Sure enough, the next day Max Weinstein shows up at his door looking to use the phone after his car broke down. Peter begs him for financial advice, which just happens to be Max's area of expertise. Max not only gets Peter's money back from the insurance scammer, but also balances his checkbook... and helps Chris with his math homework.
