Fox Sports en Español Announces Exclusive Live Spanish-Language Coverage of Mexican League Soccer

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fox Sports en Español announced today its lineup of exclusive programming for Mexican soccer's Apertura 2009 Tournament. For the 5th consecutive season, the network will have exclusive live Spanish-language broadcast rights for the Apertura, which begins with Indios facing Monterrey on Saturday, July 25th.
The Apertura, or "opening," tournament of the Primera División season comprises the 18 top Mexican teams and runs from July to December. The Clausura, or "closing" tournament ended last May with UNAM defeating Pachuca to win their sixth title. The tournament champions and runner-ups of the Apertura 2009 and Clausura 2010 progress to the 2010 CONCACAF Champions League™ to compete against the top teams in each of CONCACAF's regions.
The following table includes programming details for the Apertura 2009 tournament through November 15th. More information about the matches through December 6th will be available in the coming weeks.
