This ultra-sexy dance from Buenos Aires is one of the most passionate of the ballroom dances. For a style that is so physically controlled, the performers convey a story of deep emotion. The forbidden dance is defined by the walking "camita" step, the "baldosa" box step, the "salida" or move that begins a step, and the "resolucion," which ends a series of movements. Tangos have been performed by Kamilah Barrett and Nick Lazzarini (Season 1) and Lauren Gottlieb and Neil Haskell (Season 3). Teams Jessica King & William Wingfield and Kherington Payne & Stephen "tWitch" Boss danced the tango in Season 4. And Jeanine Mason and Phillip Chbeeb tangoed in Season 5. But the night of their version of the dance in Season 6, both Karen Hauer and Victor Smalley were eliminated from the competition.
