Pop is a blanket term that refers to dancing that has become popularized through mass exposure. The style has evolved over time, but most contemporary forms include movements like body hugs, leg snaps, lunges, and rotations. Modern forms of pop dance are marked by sharp movements. There were two pop numbers performed during Week 4 of Season 1 on "So You Think You Can Dance." Melissa Vella and Artem Chigvinsev performed to "Don't Cha" by the Pussycat Dolls, and Kamilah Barrett and Nick Lazzarini danced to "I Drove All Night" by Celine Dion. Both numbers were choreographed by Doriana Sanchez.
