Broadway

This style includes many forms of dance, from tap to contemporary to jazz, but it's typically performed to songs from musical theater. So far, the only Broadway style dancer to make the Top 20 on "So You Think You Can Dance" is Season 5's Evan Kasprzak, a fan favorite who went all the way to the finale and took third place. Resident Broadway choreographer Tyce Diorio has created numerous routines throughout all seven seasons (the most routines of any choreographer on the show). Perhaps most memorable have been Nick Lazzarini and Melody Lacayanga's Season 1 performance of "All That Jazz" and Kent Boyd and All Star Neil Haskell's Season 7 performance of "Shoeless Joe From Hannibal, MO."
