Paris performed a hard hitting hip hop routine with partner Tony. Although Paris isn't a fierce hip hop dancer by nature, Nigel said he likes her as a dancer and is particularly fond of her "West Side Story" performance from Vegas week.

Paris Torres impressed the judges with her contemporary routines from the start of auditions, and continued to grow as a dancer throughout Vegas week. The judges let Paris know the good news- she’ll be part of Season 5’s Top 20.

I'm a Personal Assistant to a loan officer and I teach dance at a studio near my home (Dance Premier).
How old were you when you started dancing?
Technically, I was 3, but I was 6 when I started taking it seriously!
Do you have any formal dance training?
Yes, extensive training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, and high hop. I have a little training in standard ballroom and Latin dance.
If you had to categorize your dance style, what would it be?
"Contemporary Funk"

So many! Mandy Moore, Dee Caspery, Wade Robson, Mia Michaels, Tabitha & Napoleon, and Tyce.
Does anyone in your family dance professionally?
No, however my grandpa would LOVE to think so. :)
Have you performed in musical theater or in public functions as a dancer?
From 2000-2003 I was a Seattle Strom & Seattle Sonic Jr. Dancer.
What would you like to see happen to you as a result of the show?
My dream is just to be involved with dance, whatever avenue that may be: Broadway, touring with a convention, master classes, contemporary companies, dancing back-up for singers, choreograph internationally, etc.

Same as above! I hope to continue to be in close contact with loved ones and traveling!
What has been your most memorable dance experience?
Well, besides being on this amazing top 20, I would say winning National Talent at the 2005 National American Miss Pageant when I was extremely sick with a 103¡ temperature.
What have you learned so far in going through the audition process for this show?
I have learned it is so important to stay true to who you are and always dance as if it is your last opportunity to do so!
What are your favorite dance moments from movies, TV and/or stage?
My family is big on musicals; "Chicago" and "West Side Story" are classics. My favorites from SYTYCD are Lacey & Kameron's "Dancing" piece by Mia Michaels, Chelsie & Mark's "Beautiful" piece by Mia Michaels.
Which choreographers would you like to work with?
Any and all! I feel so honored to be working with so many talented and brilliant artists! Some of my favorites are Mia Michaels, Mandy Moore, Tyce Diorio, and Wade Robson.
