Jason danced a Broadway number and a hip hop routine with Kayla, in addition to a solo and a group dance. Nigel noticed Jason's great footwork and even compared him to Gene Kelly.

Top 10 - 07 / 15 / 09

Jason performed a contemporary piece with Jeanine, a solo, and an African dance. After giving a standing ovation for the contemporary routine, Mary said no one can underestimate Jason's strength and power.

Top 12 - 07 / 08 / 09

Jason performed the Foxtrot and a lyrical jazz number with Caitlin. Nigel said that Jason had "great footwork" while dancing the Foxtrot, and Mary thought Jason made lyrical jazz look easy.

Top 14 - 07 / 01 / 09

Jason and his partner Caitlin performed an "out of this world" pop jazz routine. Guest judge Mia Michaels thought the performance was refreshing and fun.

Top 16 - 06 / 24 / 09

Jason performed a Paso Doble with Caitlin. The judges acknowledged that Jason danced well considering this is a new style for him, and gave him advice on connecting with Caitlin instead of the audience.

Top 18 - 06 / 17 / 09

Jason performed a hip hop routine with Caitlin. Lil C appreciated the sharp clean lines, and Mary said she loves Caitlin and Jason.

Top 20 - 06 / 10 / 09

Jason danced a Bollywood routine with partner Caitlin. Nigel thought the two brought it all to the stage, and Mary appreciated Jason's charisma.

Las Vegas - 6 / 04 / 09

Judge Lil C told Jason Glover that he'll be one of the amazing dancers in the Top 20. Jason was so energized by this news, he bounced down the hallway.

Yes I do! My friends call me J-Glove.
Where do you currently live?
I live in Fresno, California.
Where were you born?
I was born in Bakersfield, CA.
What is your hometown?
I am from Fresno, CA. The "No" is where it's at.
How old are you?
Twenty one years old!
What is your birth date?
I was born on March 16, 1988, a day before St. Patrick's Day!
Are you in school? If so, which one and how long? Did you graduate?
It's a work in progress. I want to attend a university, but I really would like to dance first.
Are you married?
Not currently, but hopefully someday.
Do you have any children?
Nope!
Do you have a job?
Not currently.
How old were you when you started dancing?
Well, I used to pretend I was Michael Jackson when I was little, but did not start at a studio until I was twelve years old, at the dance studio in Fresno.
Do you have any formal dance training?
Yes! I am trained in ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and lyrical.
If you had to categorize your dance style, what would it be?
Hiptapempazz. Haha! But really, I have become a contemporary/lyrical dancer.
What other talents/hobbies do you have?
I've played soccer since the age of 4, I swim, golf, play tennis, go to the gym, and do anything else that keeps me active. Call me your all-American boy. Haha.
Who is your favorite professional dancer?
Well, when I started taking tap at age 12, Gregory Hines was a huge influence on me and I actually got to tap with him at one of his last shows before he passed. But recently, my favorite is Nick Bass. He's sick!
Does anyone in your family dance professionally?
Haha, no! I am the only one who has rhythm. I give them an "A" for effort though.
Have you performed in musical theater or in public functions as a dancer?
Yes, I did "The Nutcracker" for a local ballet company for 3 years in a row when I was 13, 14, and 15. It was awful because I had no training in ballet yet.
What would you like to see happen to you as a result of the show?
Everything happens for a reason and whatever God has planned for us will happen. We just have to trust in him. But I have been hiding for a long time, so this is my time I think.
Where would you like to be in 10 years and what would you like to be doing?
Hopefully I will be happy! I would like to have a wife and children, and be either working as a dancer or as a choreographer.
What has been your most memorable dance experience?
I think meeting Gregory Hines and talking to him kept me wanting to dance. He said "Jason, you're going to be famous one day and I wanted to meet you and tell you to always stay humble." It's hit a chord; I never looked back.
What have you learned so far in going through the audition process for this show?
Never give up, never let down. Always give one hundred percent all the time. Always believe in yourself and your partner. Oh, and perform, perform, perform!
What are your favorite dance moments from movies, TV and/or stage?
Watching Gene Kelly, Gregory Hines, Fred Astaire, and Michael Jackson.
Which choreographers would you like to work with?
It's a privilege to be able to work with anyone, but I have been dying to work with Mia Michaels. She brings out and really captures the beauty in dance and in the dancers she works with. She is my idol. But also Marty Kudelka or Nick Bass. They are my idols in hip hop.

Glover began dancing at age 12, studying Tap and Hip Hop. He is a graduate of Bullard High School, and his favorite dancer is Michael Jackson. Tapping onstage with Gregory Hines, in one of his last shows, changed Jason's life.
