Season 4 brought us some of the biggest personalities in SYTYCD history (IV Real).
The first live show introduced Tabitha & Napoleon D'umo (NappyTabs) who choreographed "No Air" for power-pair Katee Shean & Joshua Allen, immediately throwing down the gauntlet for a season of fearless competition. A couple episodes later we met choreographer Sonya Tayeh who proceeded to unleash the freak in everyone, putting her unique stamp on the show.
Jessica King had to withdraw from the competition after she injured her rib during Tyce Diorio's Emmy-winning "Adam and Eve" routine, so the producers invited just-eliminated Comfort Fedoke back to the show. Speaking of Emmys, Season 4 earned more than its share of nominations, including NappyTabs' choreography to "Bleeding Love" featuring Mark Kanemura & Chelsie Hightower, Mia Michaels' "Door" routine with Katee and tWitch, and Dmitry Chaplin's Argentine Tango for Chelsie & Joshua.
In the end, Josh edged out tWitch to become America's Favorite Dancer, and Katee received $50,000 for being America's Favorite Female.
