Michaela Conlin - Angela Montenegro
As the bawdy and insightful counterpart to the lab full of "squints" on BONES, Michaela Conlin is a dynamic presence.
Upon graduating with a B.F.A. degree from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Conlin was chosen to be a part of the documentary series "The It Factor," which focused on the lives of young actors in New York City. By the time the series aired, Conlin had already paved her way to Los Angeles and landed a starring role on the drama "MDs." She followed with another lead role in "The D.A." as an outspoken political consultant.
In film, Conlin has appeared as Adrien Brody's lover in the Sundance favorite "Love the Hard Way" and as confidante to Robin Tunney in the acclaimed independent film "Open Window." She also appeared in the film "Enchanted" with Susan Sarandon and Patrick Dempsey.
An Irish-Chinese-American, Conlin was born and raised in Allentown, PA. At a young age, she performed in community and regional theater and with the Atlantic Theater company and the Playwrights Horizon Theater School during college. The experience eventually led to her studies with the Experimental Theater Wing's International Training Program in Amsterdam.
Conlin lives in Los Angeles.
