we will never stop…

Give yourselves credit, this movement started right here: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is the winner of E! Online’s Save One Show Poll! And it wasn’t even close! We should be very proud of ourselves, but we’ve still got two week until upfront announcements so keep getting the word out there!

When the results of over 300,000 votes came in, E! called up Josh for a word with our head honcho. “I think I speak for everybody who works on the show when I say thank you to the fans for their tireless work to save our show. I think it really goes to show that there’s a really hard-core, emotional, passionate fanbase for Terminator that is larger and more widespread than people give us credit for.”

Furthermore, Zap2it ran their own Keep ‘em or Kill ‘em poll and we came out on top there too! Check out the results and continue voting!

Even if we end up going down they certainly can’t say we went down without a fight! Because as Kyle Reese once explained, “Terminator is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop…”

We interrupt this hiatus to encourage you to vote in Round Two (the Game Changer Round) of E! Online’s Save One Show!

Please go there and show your support for our little Terminator! Sure, we love the other choices too but honestly, they all stand a better chance at renewal than us. Go there! Let’s see if we can’t get FIVE HUNDRED votes by tonight! Perhaps there’s something in store on here if we can…

It’s a sad day in blogland as we bring this season of Terminator blogging to a close. We won’t know about a potential third season until FOX announces their schedule mid-May, but please continue getting the word out there: tell your friends, pester the network, rewatch episodes online. No decision has been made yet. We’ll try and post important news as soon as we know officially.

Whatever happens, it’s up to you now. Speculate on the fate of your characters, follow and support our robot team (cast and crew) in their future endeavors, and take the lessons of Sarah Connor with you as you go. Keep in touch — some of us have taken up twittering (@hadleyk is mine, @josh_friedman is Josh Friedman, @ashman01 is Ashley Miller) — it’s the perfect way to stay connected!

Thank you to everyone for your support of the series. It has been a true pleasure for all of us to be able to share these stories with you on the screen (and online), through the good and bad, and hope that many more days of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and further blogging await us in the future…

…after all, there’s no fate but what we make.

You loved it, you hated it, you want to see more of it. Then tell everyone you can. And remember to keep voting in the E!Online Save One Show Poll! Didn’t I tell you the FUTURE depended on it?

Today is the day you were Born to Run… right to your TV. This chapter of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles ends tonight with twists, turns, answers, and new questions. But let’s make sure it’s just the end of the chapter and not the end of the story — watch it live! Tonight!

As we approach the season finale, just wanted to take a moment to point out some of our most dedicated fans — the folks behind the SkyNext Podcast. Check it out if you haven’t already!

Oh and also, Io9 got Josh to break down some of his philosophies behind Sarah Connor — a great read if you haven’t already.

at ease, soldiers.

I jumped online over the weekend and into the comments to lessen the worry floating around this site, but it seems an actual post may be warranted, friends.

Please know we are all very excited about the finale episode airing this Friday and have gone to great lengths to protect the story and surprises for our most diehard fans. Thus, we opted out of sending Born to Run out to ANY reviewers, mainstream or independent, human or cybernetic. So unless they’ve traveled back from the future it’s highly doubtful they’ve actually seen the episode. That being said, Friday is only four days away and we’ve got all kinds of goodies before then, so stay tuned…

Whoa. What just happened? Are they for real? Talk about the Adam Raised a Cain episode right here, right now (after you’ve seen the show!).

AH! I forgot again. John Henry/Savannah’s song at the end of the episode is an old Scottish Celtic folk song entitled Donald, Where’s Your Trousers? More on Monday.

a housekeeping note.

Ladies, gentlemen, cyborgs, humans,

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is a project we all love. And we also love being able to provide you with this blog as an enhancement to your weekly viewing, but disrespect towards other commenters and members of the production is unacceptable. Let’s please remember to all keep ourselves in check and contain the conversation to the actual series. Personal insults, inappropriate language, and calls for “termination” are petty and unnecessary and, as of now, I will no longer approve comments that contain them.

Please understand that we love your involvement — in fact, we work our hardest at creating the best series for you. I hope you’ll respect each other and all of the participants involved. After all, as Sarah Connor said this past week, “People matter… don’t ever forget that.” Thanks for your understanding.
