It’s Friday which means it’s time for another episode of our Video Podcast! This week’s edition features an exclusive look behind-the-scenes — no, not a prepackaged glossy video — raw and real.
Check out Executive Producer Josh Friedman introduce the footage, but spoilerphobes beware: this is a scene from an upcoming episode and may hold the key to a few things if you’re paying close attention…

This just in from Executive Producer James Middleton: “Shortly before the holidays, I heard Shirley Manson laughing and screaming with delight on stage. She had noticed that her chair finally had her name on it. It was a first in her career as an actress. I was kind of amazed at her reaction because, well, she’s a rock star and she’s seen her name everywhere. But that’s Shirley. Zero cynicism. Living in the moment. Totally engaged and loving the show. But then it went missing…”
Overzealous Garbage fan in our ranks? Simple case of a misplaced chair back? We may never know.
But she does have a new one now… and we have some extras hidden away just in case it goes missing again…
We’ve got a celebration around these parts today!
One big, happy birthday to our dear James Ellison, Richard T. Jones!
Spotted: Crossing the WB lot in full costume, the other John Connor, Christian Bale. Here filming his take on the character (for the upcoming Terminator Salvation film) on one of the stages. No random run-ins with our John Connor, Thomas, who is also shooting on the lot today. That might result in a paradox of epic proportions…
Just a fun coincidence.
The real Sarah Connor’s not all doom and gloom. Our lovely lead Lena recently showcased her comedic chops on Will Ferrell’s successful website, Funny or Die. Watch her try and make a special donation.
Beware: adult audience only, please — contains some mature language!
Brian stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to talk up his love of the show, his respect for the fans, and the Jonas Brothers? Think Derek Reese is protecting them in the tunnels in the future?
FOX folk just shot some of our cast for their So Fresh, So FOX: Winter Edition campaign and we’re excited to premiere some of the shots by photographer James Dimmock.
“Catherine Weaver” Shirley Manson and “John Henry” Garret Dillahunt sure do clean up nicely.
We haven’t linked up to our digital friends in a while, so here’s a few that have some things to say about our little robot show.
Io9 wonders why we don’t have as big an audience as Lost (so do we…), the TVAddict shows support for our eventual move to Friday nights, and Alan Sepinwall weighs in on Monday night’s David Silver vs. Toby Ziegler battle.
And hey, it wouldn’t be fair if we didn’t share a fun little clip of good sport Brian getting dunked for charity on Monday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show!
