I suppose you could be right. It looked like they were in an alley way of some kind when they jumped, but with everything blown to hell it could have been the Zeira Corp. basement.

So, are future sets mostly made from styrofoam, with more realistic texture added in post? Just trying to figure out why its so white compared to what we see on the finished product.
I actually have a big piece of styrofoam sitting in my room for no apparent reason other than I thought I could do something weird with it later. Maybe I could try something like this? heh

yeah they definitely used it in the finale. the hole in the wall is where john ducked down in kyle’s jacket so he would not be scene. thats cool how they make sets n shit. I like it ,and hopefully it will be used in season three. Which is very well deserved!

That’s Feb 13 2009 (it’s old)… It was a friday, and a premiere of Season 2 mid-season or something. But by all means, get your hopes up anyway :).

First: Derek and the others see John Connor for a FIRST TIME and he says ”I think you’re gonna be famous”

Perhaps Kyle have a prominent role in the resistance in this parallell future young John Connor ended up at in the end of Season 2.

Angel, I don’t think he said “your brother” he said “my brother”. at least I’m pretty sure. I too thought I heard what you did, but upon re watching I think I heard “my”.
as for being famous, I think it was sort of a tongue in cheek way of pointing out that some stranger has popped up out of nowhere naked and wearing Kyle’s coat. he’ll be “famous” because they’ll maybe make fun of him? I dunno, that’s all I can think of. I could be way off though.
as for the end, that was just Sarah finishing a conversation john started earlier in the ep after he had gone. that room she was in (and the one in this set walk through) is just the room after the time bomb went off and destroyed the room. she wasn’t on screen because she was probably behind a wall a few yards away, since as you remember she stayed back because she didnt time travel.
I hope if we get Season 3, our Cameron will be back with her old or a new body. It’s very sad if not.
I enjoy this kind of raw ‘behind the scenes’ footage.. Feels so much more real than any professional ‘behind the scenes show’.. The clips could be a bit longer though, but it’s all good!
@Angel: He said “My brother” since Kyle and Derek are brothers. Derek says, jokingly I assume, that John’s gonna be famous for taking a highly ranked/respected soldiers coat. I suppose that’s not something that happens every day. And also, John Connor is not a known name in that time line (at least not yet), so that’s why they didn’t go “OH SHI- IT’S JOHN CONNOR!!”. There’s so many ways to go from here in a potential season three..
Sarah somehow saying “I love you too” through the time warp is probably nothing that James Cameron would have said was possible back in the 80’s/90’s, but I think it’s a reasonable tweak to add to the significance of them (finally) expressing some feelings between each other. The final 60 seconds of the episode was as close as I ever was to tears watching this series (Summer’s acting in ‘Alison from Palmdale’ being 2nd closest), and the initial silence before hearing Sarah’s distant voice was just so beautiful. Masterful. Excellent. Perfect ending.

Second: Now I watched again the last scenes, shocked again
Maybe the Turk hardware isn’t in the basement because Sarah, Ellison and Murch took it. Weaver asks Murch how quickly they could pack up the hardware and transport it. Coincidence? I think not. Also, for everybody crying about Cameron’s demise… John Henry (in a prior episode) tells Ellison that Heaven must have a hardware problem. Remember why? The only reason I can think of Cameron giving up her brain(yes, another OZ reference) is so she can SAVE JOHN CONNOR. J.H. must have convinced her that she could indeed do so somehow in the future.

The season (NOT series) finalé was absolutely incredible. The whole 2nd season has been so much better than the first season, which was very good. I hope Fox is smart enough to renew because season 3 is set up to be even better.

@Wolfie, I think you’re right about Cameron. JH already demonstrated that he has the ability to back-up his consciousness in the case of death. I think it’s fair to assume that he allowed Cameron to back herself up to his storage space once he plugged in her chip so that they could swap CPUs.
That leaves Cameron in an interesting position for Season 3, considering all the connections JH’s hardware seems to have to the outside world. She presumably already knows more about SkyNet and how it thinks and works than present SkyNet does (more than Weaver knew, at least, since she had a chip), plus she may have learned a thing or two about how JH works, as well. Now sure would be a prudent time for Sarah to start considering her an ally!
What got me was when she told JH that she knew him, too. It sounded like a reference from before she came into the past, but I wonder in what context they met in her timeline?
I also liked the “I love you too” line at the end. Sure, it may be a stretch of time-travel physics, but it is science FICTION, after all. And whether it was (A) a flashback to right after they left the room and Sarah’s voice was somehow delayed because she was outside the bubble, (B) Sarah asked Cameron (in JH’s hardware) to transmit her I-love-you message into the future, or (C) Sarah left and Cameron sent the I-love-you message to John in the future herself but in Sarah’s voice because she knew then it would mean something to him …either way, it was a welcome closing line to a tumultuous season.

What model is Weaver? She has most of the properties of the t-1000 but she does things they cannot like make herself into a solid wall of metal thick enough to stop fire etc…
Camerons’ body was left behind in the past (as the table in the basement was left after John Henry went through), not vaporized.
Her chip contains her essence. And John Henry has that.
The closer an A.I. gets to human intelligence (both IQ and emotion), it ceases to be “artificial”.
John went to the future to retrieve Camerons’ soul.

What I took from the “I love you” at the end could mean a few things….Could be that she said I love you back to John and it somehow traveled through time as he said it to her before getting in the elevator to see weaver…
But what i initially thought was the “I love you” gave the feeling/the idea that Sarah is now dead or killed after John went to the future…
I could be way off, but I felt the I love you was a little eerie like the dead talking to John.

Just read the Recap of the Finale and it keeps making me think that this might be the end of Sarah’s Chronicles and the start of Johns.
Probably totally wrong but here is the final comment:
“This is their story. This is his story. This is her story. This is:
The Sarah Connor Chronicles.”
I just dont see a good story being told with John in the future and also telling Sarahs story side by side. To be honest i dont see john being able to go back in time anytime soon either. Because this looks to be in the early days off the war and the technology was not available then.
This is why we need Season 3, come on FOX!!!!

My hypothesis is, in short, John can get back to Sarah if he finds JH/Cameron and gets the relevant time travel information to jump back to the Sarah who is really his mother (i.e. Sarah won’t be justified in saying, “You’re not my John” like Derek did to Jesse).
And it means John can bring back Derek, Allison, Kyle, Jesse, Riley, the German Shepherd, et al., to Sarah and then they can all stop Judgment Day - because time actually has no direction and John jumping back in time to re-join his mother will create an alternate future for Sarah in which the gang can stop Judgment Day.
It’s all to play for. There is no future but what we make for ourselves.
