Actually these types of contests which allow ‘vote again’ are a great barometer of who really is the favorite actress because it shows how dedicated and connected the fans are to the particular starlet. I mean if we’re willing to make sure Summer gets 3k votes per second then I’d say she is definitely the most popular actress on the list. So click away!

All right, we are on Thursday: this week is the longest since I watch T:SCC but getting closer is good!
At the same time I am a little desperate, by anticipation, that this last episode will flow by just as fast as the last 3-4, which all felt like they lasted 10 minutes at most… and that then after it will be over and off to the store to buy the DVD set. I wonder if there will be a church with a player nearby, one where to ask for sanctuary protection… for Fox from me if they don’t renew.

I feel like I just had a meeting with my pusher: a little ashamed, since part of the fun of discovery on Friday is gone and yet the calming effect is much appreciated. The recaptcha says : mixture 15 which is a nice name for this dose of calming clips.
One question: why is JH (or Cam or Weaver for that matter…) so appreciative of doing certain things at the pace of humans, like throwing dices, signing songs… He could easily simulate 1 million crap shoots in the same time it takes for the dices to roll; or play to himself the whole of the East Asian repertoire in that second and remember all of it forever. Isn’t our dearest dream to have time to experience all that there is to life before we die? And right there, there is one being who can actually do that and more but still is quite content to lazily meander in our company.

Like you, I live outside USA (Canada) and I watch the show live every week. That’s too bad that foreign viewers don’t count for the ratings… If you add up all viewers around the globe, there is WAY MORE than 3 millions viewers per week! And I’m sure you have BurgerKing and other TSCC’s sponsors in UK as it is the case here in Canada? So, Fox should make money with the ads not only in the US.
The rating system is really flawed. It will be a shame if Fox’s exec. don’t realize that they can evaluate TSCC based only on the Nielsen rating numbers. Also, why Hulu.com and FOD are available only inside USA??? Fox will have a better idea of who watch the tv show (and from what part of the globe) if they were allowing other countries to view TSCC from Internet.

@ Etienne, how do you watch the show live every week? Tried watching on Fox.com it says sorry for you interest, this show is only available to residents in the US. All this crap really does it restrict the shows trying to find their feet in the first year or two because they are shown to US audiences first.
The only way i have been able to watch it is to dwnload it. Might be frowned upon but only way to keep up. dont have TV or SKY so i dont get all the sites and i use my computer mainly or buy boxsets.

I watch it every week, but i’m live in Hungary. I can’t do much to support the show with growing viewers number. I bought s1 dvd and preorder s2 on amazon, i wrote emails to fox&wb. I don’t know what can i more do to support them, this is my fav show, i don’t want it to be cancelled.

Im polish, I dont have FOX, I cant watch fox on demand cause its US only so I watch TSCC elsewhere on the internet to be up to date with the newest episode.
The show is aired every sunday on polish axn and even tho its 6 weeks behind I always watch it again.
However, it doesnt matter if I watch the ripped version or the ‘official’ one on TV - neither of those count towards audiance standings.
The funny thing is that Terminator is brought to polish tv sooner than Lost. The delay between the original US release and the polish release is shorter for TSCC than other supposibly more popular shows.
I wish the non US fans could support the show more.
Oh and Dollhouse, Ghostwhisperer and many other shows that have larger audiance than TSCC - I havent even heard about them o0

I’m lucky to live in Quebec, Canada and not too far from the US border: we have FOX on cable. I pay an extra just to have FOX… so if TSCC is gone, FOX also!
I live in Saskatchewan, Canada, and we have satellite, so every night at 6pm our time I tune in and watch T:SCC =) I wish I could watch the episodes again on Hulu or FOD, or even buy them in iTunes or Amazon, but I can’t.

Yeah I am not too keen on FOX myself, the whole rating system and profit driven business ruins some fantastic TV. *Cough* Firefly *Cough*.
I really hope that TSCC gets another season even it is their third and last season, I say this because they will eventually run out of time I.E Judgement Day approaching/Sarah Dying of Cancer. Unless they find a way to extend it.
All I know or feel about in all this is that if JF is really pitching hard for Terminator (yes, please just call it “Terminator” next season) he’s going to have to show the brass that he is willing to kick things up a notch or two or three. They’re getting better and better as we’ve gone along in these last few episodes, but they’ll really have to reach for the stars come September. I mean really deliver the goods all season long.
Does that mean overhauling the show? That may be a possibility. After all, Josh himself said they’re blowing up the frickin’ barn.
Why not scrap everything, because clearly even the hardcore fans were a left scratching their heads at the wobbliness and inconsistency of Season 2 as a whole, and start a-fresh?
A blank canvas may be the best bet. Change up the style a little. Make certain aspects more high energy, so the numbers are pushed upwards.
Don’t make your stories too personal, even if the personal stories are compelling. It detracts and distracts from the over reaching plotting of the show IMHO.
It may not be healthy either. If you wallow in the darkness with the mood and tone episode after episode it can have an effect on the cast, the crew, and the writing.
One thing I loved about “Firefly” was their ability to swing from lighthearted fun and a “family” feel amongst the characters to deadly seriousness and make things flow from one tone to the other. It allowed the cast to take a breather from the heavy psychological stuff and show that the characters were growing close and bonding… so that when bad things happened you felt for them, and saw why they stuck up for each other.
This, it seems, has been missing from Season 2. The family togetherness in a positive manner was a strength of Season 1, and with it missing from Season 2, it felt like much of the heart was taken out of this show.
The whole point IMHO of Terminator is to not lose yourself whilst fighting and struggling to prevail against insurmountable odds, to not lose your humanity in the process. As James Cameron said… it’s about fighting not to become de-humanized, which goes for man and machine both.
Humanity does not mean “being full blooded human.” It just means practicing the acts that makes any being better than the sum of their parts.
When you look your supposed enemy in the eye and can say “I forgive you” and lower your gun. When you see a person in need and you don’t stop, you don’t turn away, and you stick your neck out and instead help. When someone’s life is in disarray and they don’t know where to turn, you reach out and give them the shirt off your back, and take them in rather than turning them out, etc. etc.
It isn’t about A.I. and science or guns or explosions at all (though it helps with the action quotient), at the core of the story, it’s about real hope.
It’s the reaching out to those in need and saying “come with me, if you want to live.”
It’s “No Fate, But What We Make For Ourselves.”
That means Judgment Day is not pre-ordained.

I am probably the only one but i loved each and every episode of this season. I think Joss has done exceptional work this season, with character development and storylines.
Yes the lose ends have been frustrating and waiting for the answers and tried some people. but you came back which means his job is done. you might not like the answers but it is not your show. (By the way i am not talking to Dan just in general)

John was getting over his issue with killing someone and wanting a normal life and being a brat about it. Shows that hes human. Sarah was dealing with her demons as well and cameron was trying not to kill John i guess
Sometimes family members become distant. Families struggle. Being chased my robotic hitmen can add a little stress to your life. I think Josh did exactly what he wanted and it resonated as truthful with me. I don’t need you to wave the feather in my face to keep my attention. Just be honest to the characters and to the themes. That’s why I’m here supporting this show. Everyone involved has earned my respect. It is sad that there are two distinct factions of ‘fans’ for this show. 1) Those that swallow the meal and enjoy it, and 2) those who want to barge into the kitchen and tell the cook how the dish should be improved. Just my take on it.

Are you sure we’ve gotten many answers, really? They seem to put out far more questions than answers.
Take the basement from Season , the time-line doesn’t make any sense, nor have they addressed the subject in any meaningful way… all season long.
The time-line for events as a whole are not clear. Alpine Fields seemed like it was in a whole other realm of existence. They said “six months ago” when switching from the present to the past, but it’s been less than six months since the three main characters left New Mexico according to John Connor’s own lips because of the gun permit.
And guess what? Derek was still alive and kicking in “Alpine Fields.”
And how did they get from 2007 to now 2009 when it hasn’t been six months, again, according to John?
This means they either broadcast these episodes completely shuffled around, or the writers themselves have not been paying attention to details.
That goes back to the small, yet niggling issues of times and dates, and major wounds on this show en totale. They have to pay attention. They can’t just keep veering off course when the mood strikes and say: “oh, the fans won’t mind.”
Well, the fans “do” mind. I mind. It shows that you are willing to get things right and stay somewhat consistent with T1 and T2, which have been viewed by the audience, I’m sure, multiple times.
Sarah gets shot in the leg and almost dies… and yet she’s perfectly fine the very next episode, just as one example from within this very show.
Don’t get cocky, don’t get sloppy. IMHO.
Move forward, do better.
@Wolfie, perfectly put. We dont need constant action and terminator action. Thats for the movies. In a TV Series you have to drag things on to keep viewers watching. Terminator was always going to be hard to make into a TV show due to budget and balance of development over 20+ episodes.

There are not two factions of fans there are a millions of fans with a wide variety of tastes, likes, and dislikes. When you are cooking for millions you can’t put one thing on the menu and say take it or leave it. You cook up something for everybody and then everyone goes away happy. S2 has been one dimensional. As Dan says they need to lighten the mood with some comic relief which they have the perfect vehicle for in Cameron. Many people don’t tune into a Sci-Fi show for realistic family drama. It’s fine to put that aspect into the story but it is not constructive to dwell on it. Many of us think Josh could have explored all of the psychological aspects he wanted without going into the anal-probing detail that drove many fans away. There was more than enough time to give all of the fans some aspect of what they came to see. I for one have wanted to see more Cameron developement and have been sorely disappointed. She is every bit as compelling a character as Sarah yet she was written out of S2. Just like the clips that Chris just shared, we get elaborate story lines about CW and JH but not a glimpse of Cameron in any of them. I have said it a million times before. You don’t hide your star characters under a rock (or kill them prematurely). You don’t turn an action adventure show into pure drama/soap opera, and you don’t bring in a myriad of sub characters that distract your attention from the characters that millions of people are tuning in to see.
@Dan, You are right about being consistant and (WHEN) we get another season maybe these are things that will be addressed.
AS for incorrect times or dates, they are their but i to be honest have never paid much attention to little things like that. I enjoy the show and look forward to the next episode. do you have OCD or something because you do not need to look at a episode so hard to notice these things. Stops your enjoyment if i did that.
Injurys: yes it is unrealistc for sarah’s leg to be better in the next episode but if they would not be able to move the storyline on if they had to wait for all the injuries to heal.
Take X-files for example, in some episodes they go through so much, bullet wounds, infections, partially eaten things. Then next episode it was like nothing happened.
Actually thinking about it, Sarahs leg was not 100% healed because in “Some must watch while some must sleep” what’s his face pokes her wound and she is in pain.
Dont be so critical about tiny things. Lose the enjoyment

I think I fit in that category. And me too, I liked the entire season 2. I do prefer some episodes better than some others but that’s normal.
People compare season 1 with season 2… Season 1 was only 9 episodes. You can’t keep the same pace with 22 episodes. But, in the other hand, I agree that the family ties were a bit loose in season 2!
I think we can trust Josh: he will come back with a great story for season 3. Remember that tomorrow the barn will be burn to ashes… The writers will not have other choices than to start from scratch!

For me, the lay off between the 1st half and the back 9 really hurt things. I’m looking forward to buying season 2 and watching the episodes back to back to back.

Like I’m glad they killed Cromartie because that storyline was getting dull. Loved the character though. Which lead us to development of skynet or some other AI.
Plus you are pinning this show into one category “Action/Adventure” to be successful you need a balance of everything. You also bring in sub characters to further develop the storyline behind the scenes which affect all of the main characters. Hope I am making some sense, rushing to right this and do one last job at work. I will continue posting responses when I get home.

The three dot over exploration, leading into the Sarah introspection, introspection drove me nuts, If it wasn’t for the earlier greatness of the show, they would have lost me. Sorry If I’m not a good enough viewer to catch all the points that made those ep’s supposedly great, but truthfully they sucked. Maybe if the three dots didn’t lead into the Sarah stuff and was broken up a bit, it might of worked, but I doubt it. I have all the ep’s and watch them regularly except those. Really they could be deleted without missing much at all.

While nice on the eyes, that is not what I watch Summer for. After I thought about that scene for awhile, it worried me seeing her used in that way, she has way too many skills to resort to using her like that. At the same time I guess it was needed to show her attempts to seduce / catch John’s eye’s. That said, nice clip!!!!

However, you are agreeing with me without noticing it. My statement about something for everyone = balance which, you favor. So do I.
I am not pinning the show into Action/Adventure. If we seek balance it will have many facets. Sub-characters are fine and necessary as long as they don’t overshadow the main characters. We have seen much more of John Henry and CW than we have seen of Cameron. In the interest of balance I would at least expect parity if not giving the nod to the focus on a main character like Cameron.
This show can give us aspects of drama, action, adventure, deep characters (If we don’t have too many to follow efficiently), romance (Summer’s words not mine), and Sci-fi. This is where the S1 comparison is very valid, S1 struck the proper balance of all of these aspects of the show. S2 has been a one dimensional psycho-drama up until the last few eps. As Robert said, if you missed 3 or 4 of those episodes you would not have missed anything critical to the stories developement.
This show has proven what it can be now it needs to deliver.

John Connor… the boy needs to seriously get, as Marvin Gaye so eloquently put it, that “Sexual Healing.” Man him up, get him in the game.
He can’t be a regular kid. He never could. This “Stopping JD” is too important. How can he have “normal” people around him and in his heart who are so vulnerable and are basically liabilities to the mission?
In an insane world, Cameron is the sanest choice. And yes, I’m throwing Sarah Connors own words about Arnold right back at ya.

This might be bad but if this show gets cancelled it does free her up for a new series of Firefly if that got picked up again. (I can dream).
Here is a question. Which show would you rather have another series off? Firefly or TSCC? Just something i have been wanting to ask for ages. Wrong place i know but oh well.
My answer is i would love both and would have to find a way to Clone Summer Glau to be able ot work both. But please dont make me choose.
My opinion is that Cameron is a more compelling character that would get more traction with the most fans. If the show were cancelled the biggest loss would be not seeing the amazing work that Summer does as Cameron. I would watch anything she is in but I love this character.
