the return.
Tonight’s Desert Cantos marks the return of quite a few fan favorites — we’ll only hint at the return of one of Weaver’s coolest minions. But who are you hoping to see?
You definitely won’t want to miss how this one ends.

terminator does hockey.
Monday night was Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles night at the Los Angeles Kings (hockey!) game at the Staples Center. Not only did an exclusive, new promo run on both the jumbotron and the ice throughout the game, Thomas and Leven were in attendance to promote the show!
It was an exciting game, resulting in a shootout where the Atlanta Thrashers ultimately terminated the Kings. Nonetheless, DVD/T:SCC T-Shirt prize packs were given out to lucky fans and a good time was had by all! Thomas, Leven, and friend of the T:SCC family, Anthony Fitzgerald pose while they enjoy the game! You may not like what she’s up to with John Connor, but Leven’s sure one dedicated hockey fan!

boosting to success… help!
First off, here’s the good news according to WBTV — “In its first Friday night telecast, TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES maintained the season-to-date average of prior time period occupant ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5th GRADER among A18-49 and earned double digit increases among all key men demos (+20% among M18-34, +33% in M18-49 and +40% with M25-54). In fact, TERMINATOR, placed as the #1 program in its 8PM hour among M18-34 and M18-49.”
BUT, we’ve got a long, uphill battle to prove we deserve season three and we absolutely need your help. Here are a few ways that YOU can help boost attention and ratings.
**Watch it live! Yes, it’s Friday nights but it’s at 8PM. There’s plenty of time to still go out afterwards. I know we watch it live. Plus, target your Battlestar fan friends that might have not checked out our show yet. With us, Dollhouse, and BSG, it’s the perfect excuse to throw a Friday night sci-fi party and get your friends addicted.
**DVR it and watch it again (and again) within THREE DAYS. That’s how long Nielsen tracks recorded viewership. And you don’t need a Nielsen Box to be counted for that.
**Watch it again on FOX.com. Unfortunately, we’ve just found out that Hulu does not participate in Nielsen’s online viewership tracking, but FOX does! So please make it count! Truthfully, the HD quality is better on FOX’s site anyway.
**Make us #1 in the iTunes TV store as well as Amazon.com. Executives are always curious what’s selling well and definitely relate it to the potential for ratings growth!
**Use your creativity! Stage FLASH MOBS and arrange for lots of fans to show up to public places (outside busy stores, wherever the TV news channels may be, etc) decked out in homemade T:SCC shirts, carrying supportive signs. Of course, mind the law and don’t get in trouble! You think it’s too little, it won’t work? Think again! Grassroots support like that sure helped elect a certain new President…
**Email friends, family, coworkers, reporters, bloggers, pets, etc and explain to them WHY this show matters to you. Appeal to them on a personal level! Sure, it’s action and adventure, but it’s also a meaningful drama with thought out character development and a serialized storyline. Plus, with only 23 episodes under our belt, it’s easy to catch up!
**Work together! There are great, dedicated sites like the Sarah Connor Society and Sarah Connor Chronicles.org that can be used for organizing your plans. Plenty excellent choices listed in our blogroll right on this site.
**Arrange a trade-off. Switch DVDs with fans of other shows with potentially likeminded audiences. Again, Whedon fans are a great go-to, as are Battlestar dedicates. Arrange local viewing parties, hit up other show’s message boards (but always be polite!), and pimp out T:SCC.
These are just a few ideas but it’s really up to you. We’ve just begun what is essentially our last week of production on season two and we really would like to see the story continue (and feel like you’ll want it to as well!). Shout out in the comments area with other potential ideas. As we’re prone to say, there’s no fate but what we make…
from one “poster” to another.
The Good Wound has come and gone but were you paying attention? Prove it!
We’re not technically allowed to do any sort of giveaway on the site, but we are allowed to find our most dedicated fan (you know, just for fun). And hey, use your actual email address in your response comment just in case we need to contact you for any reason…
1. What is Dr. Felicia’s last name?
2. According to John Henry, who is Tahu Nuva sworn to defeat?
3. What tool did Felicia use to see the bullet and get it out of Sarah’s leg?
4. What type of energy plant has Catherine Weaver not bought up for ZeiraCorp?
5. What is the name of Jesse’s hotel?
We won’t quote Bryan Adams but we will say, hit us with your best shot…
the factory.
Last week, we watched as the T-1001 destroyed the factory, our only known connection to Skynet aside from Andy Goode’s “missing” The Turk. This week, Sarah, John, Cameron and Derek investigate the company town connected to the destroyed factory. But Catherine Weaver’s also got her own man in town..
Did Sarah’s vision of the three-dots really bring them back on the case of Skynet? What exactly was being built in the factory and who was working on it?
