Hmmmm, Sarah talking about her dreams?
Can’t wait…
That was not meant sarcastically; I appreciate this storyline. I think Sarah’s struggling to come up with a solution here and her dreams are all-important.
Skynet brain mapping? Is this how Skynet finds the Connors? Things are definitely getting even more interesting. Once it starts we’re not gonna want it to stop.
By the way, I was watching American Idol with my family last night and I did not see one single TSCC promo. I saw promos for House, 24, Hell’s Kitchen and 2 promos for Dollhouse. Why wouldn’t they want to promote TSCC during one of the most watched shows in America?
I love Sarah’s voice overs.
I know *I* won’t be the one sleeping tonight–can’t get the eps live so I’ve got to watch it EARLY as I can on the fox website.
I can’t wait!
Can’t wait for tonight’s episode! I love the Sarah-centric arc.
Hey AdoptMeSarah. I didn’t watch last night’s AI but the other night they aired this:

It’s all of 10 seconds but a fun promo. At least they aired it during AI. Some is better than none but Fox needs to air more during AI, I agree with you.
Please God, be an interesting ep. I fell asleep last week, and didn’t feel like I missed anything.
The action on TSCC flows so seamlessly into the characters or vice versa you’re allowed to have both great action and great characters. I quickly rewatched the last episode to prepare for tonight and one thing seemed slightly off. So now I have a question. Why? In my experience of this show so far, the things that seem slightly off are that way for a purpose. I’m referring to the part where Derek makes a bitter remark to Sarah at the funeral about the man she killed. He emphasizes the opinion that this man was murdered by Sarah. Why does he not give her the benefit of the doubt that she had no choice, self-defense not murder? Why the bitterness? What did she do or not do to deserve this bitter attitude from Derek?

Every episode is interesting. Last week’s episode was more cerebral than most, but highly thought-provoking. I look forward to more of the same tonight.
Wow, some intense lines of dialogue! Hope Sarah finds some answers tonight and can sleep eventually! And how does the Skynet brain mapping work? Can’t wait!
Confession time: Sarah Connor’s psychic pain thrills me.
\o/
That’s a very good question about the lack of a promo during American Idol. It’s quite surprising to hear that. I wish we knew the answer.
someone wake me when its over and tell me if it is work the trouble to watch
Gary,
I don’t think I wanna know the answer…
The answer is simple: don’t throw in good money after bad. How much more can Fox spend on it’s lowest rated show?
Sounds like something Jesse would say. Or one of Sarah’s dreams.
I told you I didn’t want to know the answer… jeez!
LOL!!
Anyway, I gotta tell you that if I was pushing HARD for a third season no matter what network were thinking of picking it up due to Halcyon’s upcoming T4-T6 trilogy and the ad revenue from it (USA? Sci-Fi? CW? Fox’s own F/X? HBO?? Cinemax??) I would really have to show the execs I was willing to amp the show up somehow, or at least keep it at a more dramatic and intense and suspenseful level for more of the episodes to keep the audience glued to the tube.
Now, saying that, this does not mean dumbing things down to “24″ banal levels, nor should it lack for the quiet, more solid, and intimate moments between the characters (that we really like and seemed to have missed for much of Season 2).
It just means that on a more consistent basis the show really goes back to its movie roots and shows that there is a driving purpose behind each and every story, that there is a clear destination in mind. Again, that sense of urgency, that we are racing against the clock to stop JD in its tracks while trying to maintain a solid team and loving family atmosphere (no matter who or what we are).
We must not lose sight of why the fight is the good fight, the mission is essential: There is HOPE and LIGHT and HEART and GOOD that can shine through in the darkest of hours. That we still have a chance as a species to right our wrongs even still and get back on the right path (and this can also be said for our metal brethren).
The future is what we make of it. That, for me, IS the story within Terminator, it’s essence.
Also, if T4 is a success, I would INSIST that Halcyon use a little of the profits from said movie that would allow for more of the S/FX and action and stunts necessary to sustain TERMINATOR level intensity (given that it’s still a TV show). At least BSG level effects.
It is mutually beneficial to BOTH franchises: movies and TV show for the name TERMINATOR for both to succeed.
One last thing before I go…
Yup, it’s in the form of a song. I think it’s a good one to listen to.
Another tribute to a positive, more tender, loving, and family-oriented vibe for the Connors, Cameron, and everyone else in the blogosphere, no matter where you are or who you are.
Listen to the voices of the angels of your better nature:
Coldplay: “Fix You”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBEYyHGbwto
When you try your best, but you don’t succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can’t sleep
Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streamin’ down your face
When you lose something you can’t replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home,
And ignite your bones,
And I will try to fix you,
And high up above or down below
When you’re too in love to let it go
But if you never try you’ll never know
Just what you’re worth
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I…
Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I…
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you…
Lol Dan, that’s exactly the song I’d love to be played during in the background during a more tender moment between Cam and John.
Give this writer a raise.
To Natalie and Denise:
BRAVO!!!
Three cheers ladies!
And a special Kudos to Lena. Job incredibly done.
That ep rocked!
Great ep! Lot of classic J/C moments in there but also the whole Sarah dream sequence was better than what I’d expected it to be based off the promos so kudos to Josh and his team!
And as always… I love you Summer!
1 second of Summer in pink bra and panties makes up for 59+ minutes of another mediocre episode.
“Now, saying that, this does not mean dumbing things down to “24″ banal levels,”
That is truly a ridiculous statement. 24 is one of the best written shows on television.
Some people may not be able to follow the intricacies of the plot lines but that is not the shows fault. T:SCC should hope to emmulate 24 in ratings and in content. Which, it has not done this season. But, lets hope the last 6 are redeemers.
What is the point of having Cameron walk around in a bikini for 10 seconds during an episode completely devoted to a story about Sarah Connors anxiety problems. Oh, and by the way the Sarah Conner is crazy thing is getting really old really fast.
24’s characters come out of a Cracker Jack box of stereotypical templates. The first couple of seasons were actually pretty entertaining and then Jack became the new Rambo who just looooves to torture people. He was becoming as bad as the “bad guys.”
It became the Neo-Con’s wet dream. Anything justifies the means, no matter how wrong.
Blech!
However, yes, “Terminator” could use a bit more suspense and tension and action from episode to episode.
Fridays’s show “Some Must Watch, While Some Must Sleep”… worst episode I have seen. Sarah’s shot in the leg, the next thing we know she’s in a sleep lab. Very disjointed. The story line is really wandering. IT NEEDS MORE CAMERON!!!! Get her back in the story!
