waiting.. watching..

Like Josh mentioned in his big blog post, yesterday was our final day of production on season two. It was a sad but sweet day, with most of our cast working and our entire crew proud of the results of both the season finale and the season in general. We wrapped production around 11:00PM and proceeded to celebrate at Don Cucos, a neighboring Mexican restaurant/bar until the late hours of the night…

Lovely Writers’ Assistant Sandy Adomaitis brings you a sneak peek of some of the gang watching preparations for a big stunt, including — (from left to right) Executive Producer John Wirth, Line Producer Jill Danton, Stunt Coordinator Joel Kramer, Script Coordinator Mike Weiss, Staff Writer Dan Thomsen, Assistant Zvi Shapiro, Writers PA Nick Damski, and this goofy iPhoner/Media Consultant Hadley Klein. Don’t you want to see what’s on the monitors we’re looking at? Oh you will, and not too long from now!

  1. Don’t say sad! You guys must come back for another season or 12.

Thanks to everyone for all their hard work in bringing us this great show!

  2. What an excellent show! Thanks for everything! Can’t wait for next season!

  3. Oh now you guys got me all teary eyed, literally I almost cried last night thinking about T:SCC getting canceled, really how pathetic is that?!

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK!

CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT EPISODES AND HOPEFULLY *fingers thoroughly crossed* SEASON THREE!!

  4. Thanks for the great season so far and i cant wait to see the rest of it.

So will this be the last Blog post now the filming has finished?

  5. Yes we do want to see it! Thanks for posting the photo. Behind the scenes stuff is always fun. What does a Line Producer do?

Most of us on the outside probably don’t realize just how many people are involved in a project like this, making it all happen every week.

When I saw a candid photo of them shooting a scene for Sampson & Delilah in one of the LA river washes (where Cameron flipped the car), I was amazed at how much gear and how many people were there. Lots of people involved.

Hopefully some extra material about creating this finale will be on the season two DVD. Sounds like quite an episode.

  6. Last blog post!? I hope not. I wouldn’t have anything to check seven times a day… lol

  7. I can’t wait to see the rest of season 2!

Thanks for putting so much work into all of this, and I look forward to season 3. You guys better take a nice break before you have to get back to work! =)

  8. I can’t wait to see what this is all about - I know that it will be worth it! I am still looking forward to all of the new blog postings too. I know this won’t be it. There is too much good material to show off before each new episode airs.

  9. i hope it was a good party!! quite a lot to celebrate although i really hope it’s not the end. can’t wait to see the finished product, and pleeease don’t stop posting on the blog, we’ll all miss it too much.

  10. I too am eagerly awaiting the rest of this season - and the next one! Have a nice vacation, guys!

  11. Blow the roof off guys! No matter what, everyone does deserve to take a bow.

I’m gonna actually get a little sentimental here since production has wrapped, and the curtain has closed on another season.

I couldn’t help myself, so I hope you don’t mind.

  15. Congratz on the finale I know its going to be amazing. TSCC never disappoints. I’ll see everyone again WHEN we DO get a third season. Otherwise I will loose something so dear to me that truly is a part of who I am. This is the work of a pure genius…absolutely perfect…

  16. Thats exciting!
ohhhh what i would give to see what’s on those moniters lol…
I CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS!

FOX BETTER GIVE US SEASON 3!

  17. You guys have done a spectacular job and should be really proud. What happens or doesn’t happen next season can’t take away the amazing work you’ve done here. Much appreciated!

  18. Congratulations!!
Thank you so much for bringing us this AMAZING show!

Can’t wait to see the new episodes :D

  19. Congratulations for a job well done! I can’t wait to see the remaining 6 episodes of the season. Thank you TSCC cast and crew for giving us one of the best shows in the history of network television. I know Fox executives can appreciate the quality of your work. Let’s keep sci-fi fridays going through next season. I’m staying home to watch, but only if TSCC is there to anchor the effort.

  20. Now I see what a Line Producer does:

“Runs the more practical aspects of the production such as logistics and personnel, as opposed to the creative content.”

Thanks again to everyone involved, whoever might stop in here from the show to read a few comments.

    Congrats.

  21. Bow. Close curtian. roll credits…

    Where’s there’s life there’s hope.

    Peace.

  22. It was fun while it lasted.

  23. Here is to season 3!

  24. Hope you had fun guys, you deserve it! Now we have to make sure to watch a lot to get you guys to a third season!

Can’t wait to see the finale btw… you are really making us hyped to see it!

  25. Here’s a Holiday Special for you guys!

    “Christmas Vacation Meets Terminator!”

Clark W. Griswold works at Zeira Corp. as a low level programmer, and instead of a holiday bonus, due to the massive economic downturn and being such a steel-hearted, evil T-1001; Catherine has enrolled all her employees in the “Jelly Of The Month Club.”

Here’s Clark’s holiday wish to his family in response:

“Hey. If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one:

I’d like Catherine Weaver, my boss, right here tonight! I want her brought from her happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want her brought right here, with a big ribbon on her head, and I want to look her straight in the eye and I want to tell her what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, fore-fleshing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, d–kless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey sh#t she is! Hallelujah! Holy sh#t!

    Where’s the Tylenol?!!”

    ——–
Good night, everybody! And good luck.

  26. Many thanks from me for all the hard work. This is the best show on TV so I’m hoping to see everybody back soon.

  27. Thank you for you guys, we need season 3, Cameron always happening!

  28. thanks for the blog posts hadley, and I hope this wont be the last one ??
tell josh to post again too. hopefully this wont be the last 7 shows.
TSCC has been a thought provoking show better than most of the crap on tv , and its a shame the nielsen people would rather watch reality tv over this show.

  29. What a great show! Thank you.

    Hope to see S3 Soon!

  30. Thank you all for a wonderful season!!

    Here’s to many more!! :)

  31. I love this season. TSCC is the best show! I never give up! Season 3!

  32. We’ll be back.

  33. Indiana Jones 4 created a huge resurgence of interest in Indiana Jones. With Terminator 4 coming out (just 2 weeks after the SCC finale), it’s going to generate a lot of interest in The Terminator. People will want to see more. The ramp up to T4 will benefit SCC this season, and if T4 is successful, people who may not know this show exists may start watching because they want more terminator. On the other side, I’m pretty sure all SCC fans will go to see T4. So, they both benefit each other. This effect should be enough to make Fox seriously consider a third season.

  34. Way to go guys! Congrats to the entire cast and crew on an incredible season 2! Here’s hoping for a season three! (Keeping everything crossed!) Thanks for everything you do to bring this show to us fans, and I’ll keep watching! :)

  35. I thoroughly enjoy “Terminator, the Sarah Connor Chronicles” - and not simply because Summer Glau is so awesome!

One thing I have been pondering in though is that the Terminators seem strangely deficient in some kind of networked communications. Since, fundamentally, they are computer systems this should be an issue. A de-fanged Terminator like Cameron might well be expected to have the networking shut down but “working” Terminators should be able to stream data to each other, much as latest fighter planes can work in packs and extend the capabilities of their sensors, and weaponry, by sharing data. In certain circumstances Terminators in large numbers should be some kind of “hive mind” it would seem to me. Anyhow, it would seem logical that only a single Terminator needs to learn something and it can be replicated to all others by some kind of networking and data/program replication protocol system. Or something.

I always wondered why Daleks had to talk to each other but it’s certainly true of Terminators, from what they are posited to be. It’s something the writers like might to play with or, at least for my peace of mind, explain why Terminators have to be unique identities than can only communicate in the manner of humans (which seems to be the case for John Henry and Weaver and now JH has outed Weaver she has no need to play human with him).

    Something for Season 3, perhaps.

  36. Thanks!!! See you next fall for season 3!

  37. Hy guyz! Thanks for everything, you’re amazing and do an amazing job for givin’ us such emotions! Waitin for season 3, and waitin for finale episodes of 2nd season, so we’ll find here to talk about them as soon as possible!
greetings from italy (a countri where TSCC doesn’t air on tv…sigh)

  38. Congratulations to the cast and crew on finishing S2. :)
TSCC is the best show around.
Really looking forward to the rest of the season.

    Bring on S3!!! :)
