  1. (Images not always appearing for anyone else?)

    I can’t wait for this!

  2. tell me about it!!

  3. I think the real Sarah Connor is someone who just wants to curl up on the couch with a bowl of ice cream and a good book.

  4. Images? I only saw one. :(

    Lena is made of gorgeous.

@ AdoptMeSarah: *laughs* I LOVE your screen name. I wanted change mine to AllIWantForXmasIsCameron…but it was too long. :P

I think Sarah would love some peace and quiet for about 5 minutes before she was up the walls trying to find something to do. I mean, her conversation with Andy Goode, where he asked her if she had ever wanted to be anything other than a waitress and she said she couldn’t remember? That was brilliantly written and incredibly touching. I was so sad for her. But her answer gives us some insight into who Sarah Connor really is. I mean, she and Cameron are not so different in that aspect, bear with me: Cameron’s sole purpose is the mission, and her existence serves no purpose without it. Sarah is the same. If she didn’t have her son to protect and Skynet to fight, after all these years of fighting for survival, where would she be? Would she go back to waiting tables? Would she go back to college in her forties after everything she’s seen? She’s a mother, and she’s a fighter, it what she has and knows how to be. Without those things, outside of those things, she has/is nothing.

Or I could go get some sleep and hopefully start making sense at some point! *grins*

  5. Guh! I love that promo shot! First of all, thanks to the makeup dept and Lena for going through that 3 hour session to cover all those great tats to get Sarah Connor in a tank top again! (And for answering my silly, nervous, babbling question on this topic at Comic Con!) Yay!

Wow, what a great line of dialogue! Who says it? What’s Sarah’s response to it? (Beyond her ususal of pointing her trusty 9mm/shotgun at the person.)

Mayumi, I’m so glad you also picked up on that line from The Turk where Sarah says she can’t remember what she wanted to be. Who is Sarah without her mission? More importantly, I’ve seen hints in the Terminator franchise that everyone knows of the great Sarah Connor, but does she survive (in this timeline anyway) to see the machines vanquished or Judgement Day come? Will she be felled by cancer or another enemy? Will John be able to survive on a psychological/emotional level if the day comes when his mother’s not there? Trust me, I think about these themes a lot - not that I want Lena going anywhere!! :) Yet, I’ve always found the cancer angle in SCC fascinating since it forces Sarah to deal once again with her mortality and wondering how she will complete her mission to raise her son and defeat the machines before her assumed death. Plus, you get Lena and her kick ass acting and nothing’s better than that! :)

Whew, I think I’ve been the one without sleep for too long!

  6. @ Annie

I second that! Yay for Sarah Connor back in her tank tops. ;)

Yeah, I thought the line was wonderful. The writing for this show is just brilliant. Lena says so much in something as short as “I don’t (can’t?) remember”.

  7. I can’t see the pic.

  8. P.S. Bare arms! Left-handed grip! Tousled hair! Stern look! I can’t wait!

  9. P.S. Everything about that pic makes me… happy. Can hardly wait!

  10. A seeker? Nightmares or memories?

    I’m intrigued, excited, impatient…

    *wild speculation running through brain*

  11. The person being qouted sounds like a doomsday prophet.
